@@RomaroBrandon I would agree with you but even her friend that went in the house stated there was no garbage but it did smell bad in the room.
"Yakety Yak Don't talk back!"
I sing that song three or four times a week as I gather up the trash and take it to the garage … but then I stop singing when I take it out to the the wheelie bin because I don’t want my neighbors to think I’m unhinged! 😂😂🗑️
@@PartyOf8Please I got old enough (73) to not care what neighbors think about me. It's quite a freeing feeling. One thing I did learn is that even when you think you may be committing a social faux pas, others sometimes enjoy that break from the regular boring stuff. It's true. So go ahead and sing. Or maybe begin with whistling to break them in. lol I whistle in the stores a lot. And I never wore those absurd masks, either. Kind of creepy that I was the only one. Oh well, have a good day.
Lol i sang it
@@mikeyh0
I’m the same age as you are, and I hear you about the not caring part!
@@PartyOf8Please I do care but only important things. What other people think is way down on that list. Just below who's going to win the Super Bowl in 2030. I remember when there was no Super Bowl. Seems I lived before a whole lot of stuff happened. You too, huh? Harry Truman was president when I was born. I told that to someone the other day and he looked at me and asked, "Who?"
There was no mess that I know of, is what plaintiff stated. A pig would say the same thing of a pigpen.
3:34 - Interesting that the Plaintiff's video was uploaded on RUclips which doesn't provide an accurate time stamp of when the video was created.
My next question would've been to ask if she still had the video on her phone.
Do unlisted videos even have time stamps?
Surprised that the defendant got a dime. She was a liar and a bully. JJ usually does not reward that behavior.
At $1000 for a room, the landlady could have cleaned the room herself. While I understand that the owner should be allowed to rent a room or a house, one should not overcharge those who cannot afford a house of their own.
Dang I’m never this early
You forgot to say “first bitches” lol
180$ in exchange for being called a pig on national TV
I have never had a landlord give all the deposit back. They love to exaggerate. I think alot think thats free money and get mad when you ask for it back. Thank goodness ive owned my own home for 22 years so done with that craziness.
Judge Judy is very beautiful and very intelligent and the best judge ever 1:13
Not Judy calling a plus size person, a pig, and assuming she must’ve been a mess because of missing evidence
Stand up for yours!!! You see one you see the other 😂😂😂😂. You're the only one that's entitled to assume! she wasn't "plus", she didn't have time.
1000 a month for a room. It must be exquisite

The landlord is a liar. She was going in that room without warning and taking close up pictures of specific messes then lied about it being nasty when she moved out to keep her money. JJ shouldn't have awarded her anything because the pictures are of a clean space and she exaggerated until the video was shown. She even tried to lie and say it was the move in video not knowing that videos are date/time stamped. She probably goes into every tenants room when they're not home looking through their things and looking for excuses to keep their money.
That part!
Thought JJ disliked being lied to.
That witness spells her name like mine! Only ever met one other person with that spelling in 52 years!
Hi Melodye!
@@timothyhh 👋🏼
It doesn't pay not to follow the protocol of checking in a tenant and checking out a tenant. That's your protection. *sigh* 🤦🏽♀
Why is her video on RUclips, when the date/time of upload shows instead of the original date and time of capture in the videos metadata, and conveniently titled “Moved Out”?
Or in other words, do regular people upload their move out video in RUclips? I sure didn’t, I took photos and called it a day.
Seems sketch, and she doesn’t have time to take out the trash? Girl bye.
Well that's why she didn't have time to take the trash out. She was too busy uploading her video. Geez....what is wrong with you people? LMAO
Really…
Eating in bedrooms is disgusting
I agree anywhere besides kitchen or dining room is just nasty that's what they are for
lol a bottle of bleach is 3 bucks at most here and paper towel 8 bucks,
maybe 50 bucks for the time but not 200 smh.
WRONG. You could NOT get a cleaning lady to come to the house for $50.
Reslly? You clean it then.
@@stratfordbaby you don’t have to be crappy about it…
Defendant gives me Karen vibes. She probably treats her tenants like children. If you don't want people who live different lifestyles, then don't rent rooms out in your home.
Judge Judy is so quick to take the landlord side. It’s unbelievable. Sometimes you can have a bad landlord. She needs to hear both parties first.
1:25 A former friend of mine was like that. Never turned on the lights and the apartment reeked of garbage. He thought it was enough to just put in an air freshener.
He was probably afraid to see all the cockroaches and other bugs, a case of ‘if I don’t see it, it doesn’t exist’.

Stay away from Craig’s List…. It’s always bad news!
I found my landlord that way when I moved from one city to another. It was $400 bucks a month for a room and he never entered my space for any reason. I lived there for 7 years without any real issues. It also included washer/dryer and cable. I got very lucky.
It’s more than a room; she had use of kitchen, Livingroom, presumably laundry facilities. Tenant agreed to it, it was probably a very nice home & location.
Very very strange
It's called greed
1:24 wth do you mean u don’t have time to take trash out your room every time I watch Judy it opens my eyes more and more showing me how well my parents raised me smh
No time? Dont be ridiculous you make the time!
Oh my gosh! The judge said that the defendant said she was a “pig”?
Geez, the Defendant and her witness stinks of Karen vibes.
Also, the defendant (Valerie Velardi) was Robin Williams’ first wife. For real!
I love how landlords want to get paid for regular cleaning….if its OKish good enough.
At least the judge wasn’t yelling throughout the whole trial this time.
My issue is I used to rent out of room and I only paid $750 a month. Why are they paying $1000 a month for a room?
did it have its own bathroom ? and everything included we don't know the amenities that came with that 1000 or your 750
The landlady claimed the video was before moving in, not after. Judy never proved that was false.
Moral of the story, don’t rent a room.
Times are tough past and present but you know what, iv had roomies and lived on my own , its way better to live by yourself than have drama no matter what it is... All kinds and types of people live a certain way and I'd rather do what i need to do to live the way i want and not have to answer to anyone, plus i love my privacy enough said. 😊
I have seen JJ so many times in the past not compensating landlords if they do not have a bill and did the work themselves. She is very inconsistent.
Lol "next time don't be a pig" aishh💀
1000$ for a room is crazy but she decided to move in, her decision.
When I rented a room... I CHANGED THE LOCKS, so the only way they wld know that it's changed is if the landladiii tried to go in WITHOUT MYYYY CONSENT 😂😂😂😂😂
Why was she in her room?
Dang, I have an extra room I might rent it out for $1,000 😂
If you look closely, she showed it on RUclips
The defendant was a sneaky lil something 😂😂😂🤦🏾♀️

Soooooo expensive $1000 FOR A ROOM.......😮

Defendant straight up lied though about the trash. However I do believe the plaintiff was dirty asf.
