I made one loaf just now with 100% whole wheat flour skipping the nuts. It was easier and faster than expected. Both the taste and texture turned out to be very good. For 640 grams of whole wheat flour without the nuts, 2 cups + 1/4 cup of water was enough. I will definitely make it again. The recipe is a keeper. Next time I will add the nuts. Thank you for posting.

I made 3 variations of this bread and because my whole wheat flour was so dense, NONE of them would rise as instructed. I made several revisions and then everything turned out fine. Rather than water, I used milk; rather than sugar, I used honey; I used 3 parts flour to 1 part whole wheat flour; and finally, I added flax seed, wheat flakes and sunflower seeds. IF you want to make the loaf with nuts, I strongly recommend baking them first.
These Chinese who put up videos for numbers to earn income but when you have questions and doubts they will not respond to you coz their they have achieved their numbers.

Thank you for your recipe. Today I tried recipe#3. For both the flours I used the brand Gold Medal. The protein in the whole wheat is the same as yours, 4gram. I followed all your steps. However I found that after I put in the yeast mixture and the 2tbsp water, the dough was very wet after I mixed it. It didn't look together like yours. So I added some more white flour. I proofed the dough in the oven with just the light on and it rose double after 75 minutes. After deflating the dough I poured it into a 9.5x5.5 loaf pan because that's what I have. Again I proofed it in the same place. After 35 min the dough already rose to the rim of the loaf pan. During the first 10 minutes, the top of the bread rose like a dome, nice and smooth....then afterwards, it started staying flat..finally after 45 minutes I stuck a thermometer in the center and it said 190 degrees F and when I tapped the top it sounded hollow. But after cooling for 2 hours and when I sliced it, the inside has holes and tasted a little chewy. The top sort of caved in. My house temperature is about 69 degrees F this afternoon. What could have gone wrong?
I think that when you deflated the dough after 1st time proofing, you might have not deflated all of the bubbles, so after the 2nd time proofing, the air bubbles will be bigger , Thank you for letting me know. 😊

The bread might have started to turn flat because that your room temperature was too low.

Hi,when you let the bread rise in the pan,it gets stuck on the plastic at the top..
Please advice
spray it with cooking spray or grease it somehow first, also peal it off the risen dough carefully
