Another fantastic Kirby Allison documentary! I really appreciate Mr. Gaziano’s candor and humility. Makes us all appreciate the career path on the way up, regardless of the field. So many super-successful people recollect it was the early days they enjoyed more. Being rich is irrelevant, do what you love. What a lesson.

I'm still at the TLB Artista level for the minute, no question when I make the step up it'll be GG that I choose, incredible shoes

They are my favorite shoe brand, but Carmina really is the that far behind. And the price difference is a jump

@@jlozano2014 I agree. Although there's no denying that Gaziano or Stefano Bemer are at a higher level, TLB, Carmina or Vass are made to such a high standard that you're just paying for minute details by that point (especially with TLB's new van Gogh last and JR soles). There's a whole new in-between market opening up too with brands like Oct Tenth, Y by Yeossal and other hand made shoes in the east that make paying the upper level not worth the return. I'm probably biased because of being born and raised in Northampton, but GG are still a pair I intend on owning in the future, TLB are more than good enough until that time comes though.
