Hi Kim and Del! My boyfriend and I loved watching your trip to Georgia, beautiful landscapes! 💗💗 We just thought that would be even nicer to have the places names throughout the video😊
Thanks, Thaise! Amazing landscapes indeed. We've got most of the places covered in the Vashlovani Travel Guide. The rest will be included in an upcoming blog post covering the 1 week itinerary in detail, with route maps and all the info you need to plan a trip to the same places : )
Hey Thaise, just to let you know I've added all of the locations into the video description and added them as chapters in the video so you can see where each place is. Cheers! Kim
A real pleasure to discover your video on the first day of the new year. It is top (splendid shooting with the drone and the musical atmospheres is great) Beautiful and happy year 2021 to both of you.
Thank you, Deniz! I think Del is getting more and more confident with his drone skills, especially whilst driving at the same time!! A very Happy New Year to you too.
Thanks very much. We did this in the second half of October, a good time of year which was still warm but not too hot, and less chance of snakes 🐍. Wouldn’t say we preferred this to any other area cause we love so much of Georgia and each area has its own merits. This part is unique in Georgia though and was definitely one of our most memorable trips 😃
@@GoingTheWholeHogg sounds great! We're there any places to stop off en route to get more food / provisions? Or once on the road are the options very limited?
@bamboozle999 once you leave Dedoplistskaro there’s nothing until Udabno so you need to make sure you have what you need. For more info about the route you can check out our guide: www.goingthewholehogg.com/vashlovani-and-david-gareja-4x4-georgia-road-trip-itinerary/
@@giomemana7881 we really enjoyed having this rental van and it handles tricky roads well. There’s only two 4x4 campervan/camping car rentals in Georgia as far as I know, and this is one of them! We’ve seen ‘our’ van in other places in Georgia too and even Armenia.

Wow! talk about getting away from it all. I don't think I would have the guts to do what you are doing, only because I would have mega anxiety about the vehicle breaking down out in the middle of no where where you don't speak the language.
Fortunately we have a satellite messaging device (Garmin InReach) which makes us feel far more confident about going to remote spots without phone signal. And being able to download Georgian to use offline on Google Translate gives us some peace of mind when it comes to being able to communicate with people. The wonders of modern technology!

Other models too...
The perfect assessment! We loved this vehicle 😃
