Ughhh please keep making videos like these!! 🙏🏼😩 I thought I was the only one who couldn’t even paint a freaking nail without it looking messed up! I dunno how people do it! They make all these beautiful intricate designs, and I’m over here barely able to paint a nail with a solid color… 😩😭
You're not on your own honest lol.. I don't know why but I found the actual colour effects me, red and my hands are turned into useless shakey banana fingers, how does that even happen?!🤭 Obviously must be a confidence thing lol

I looove those color cubes and this video really helped me, that's still a deficit of mine, to apply the gel without margin and above all: without flooding the cuticles!
I do the same thing when I do my own nails, I lie to turn on a long show, podcast or some music that is soothing!(it depends on how I'm feeling on that particular day!) I also sometimes turn on a playlist from you or another of my favorite nail technician RUclips channels, that way it's kind of like a girls night manicure party!! Lol 😂🥰❤️
Anastasia, have you seen the new Cosmo Party collection from Modelones? There are two gel polish sets (one solid gel and one gel polish in bottles) and a dip powder set. The gel colors in that collection are gorgeous!
I find doing my nails is a way for me to relax. I too usually put something on Netflix and then start my session. Thank you for the tip! Can't wait to try it.
I have a question, dear. What is the brand and number of the gel rounded tip brush that you used in this video? Your videos are exceptionally planned and executed. You comprehensively include all pertinent information; you communicate very well & pleasantly; your camera & editing expertise, shows; and most importantly, your application and technique skills are remarkable. Thank you so much, for your work ,and for sharing your experience and knowledge!
6:13 same here! i love the middle finger to appear long n slender rather than stumpy as my middle finger nail bed is definitely more square than my rectangular nail beds on my other fingers.
You make it look so easy. I'm not too bad when using my dominant hand but with the other, well let us not go there :) I do have a question, my nail bed and free edge are really soft, weak and thin. I have tried to go without having any product on them and grow them naturally but this is impossible because they catch and bend and sometimes that really hurts. I always end up going back to using hard/poly gel. I use an e-file for speed and ease. Do you believe in using a cuticle remover instead of an e-file? Your thoughts and advice would be appreciated.
Have you ever tried the young nails Mani Q with keratin?? I would love your opinion on this product and to watch how you suggest to place it on the nail 💅 and does it really add any further value to your nails by having the added keratin in the ingredients please 🙏 they also have different colours of this product now.
Thank you for this video! I bought the evoking memories pallet when Amazon had a sale, but I haven't tried it yet. Also if you don't have builder gel could you use polygel mixed with a base coat?
I have the second collection and they are so pretty! My only issue is how do you clean the brush between colors? I found if I dipped it in a cleanse (I have gelish) then the next color applies streaky. Any thoughts??
I use dry lint-free tissue (I cut them from large roll of Kleenex for kitchen or you can also buy white strips for waxing and cut them into small pieces - they work great too) Only after dark color I take a little bit of alcohol and saturate the lint-free wipe, but not too much, it's not supposed to be wet
How do you prevent flooding the cuticle area and sides when applying the top coat? It happens to me every time, no matter how thin that I apply it or how many coats that I use. I typically cure each coat under the LED lamp for at least 60 seconds. When I first apply the top coat, the sides look good, but when I take my hands out from the lamp, the sides now look flooded.
I just found your channel today, and I really love it. I do have a question though and that is can I use builder gel alone to strengthen my natural nails. I'm trying to grow them (I'm taking biotin), but they are still rather weak. I appreciate your content.
Applying builder gel on the nails is a great way to grow them longer as they will be protected on top. But unfortunately it can't make them thicker. Only vitamins, food can make our nails a little better. I have an old video about taking care of natural nails, but the information in it is still up to date 😊 - ruclips.net/video/qgPaA6rloJg/видео.html
Hi I’m trying to learn to do my own acrylic nails and have purchased several Modelones products. Each time I use their gel polish it wrinkles , bubbles then peels off. I follow the instructions and have even emailed the company. Per their instructions, i put 2 coats of gel polish as instructed same results. I put my nails in the lamp for 30 seconds put the top coat the the lamp again . What an I doing wrong ? I’m very frustrated thank you .
question for you dear anastasia: I notice that you hold down your sidewalls with your thumb, but then when you let go, wouldn't the color automatically touch the sidewalls? thank you 😘
Good question! Sometimes I use plastic clip to prevent it, I showed in some videos - ruclips.net/video/lvGojildfBQ/видео.html Sometimes I don't apply color too deep on the sidewalls (like I did in this video) - there is a little margin , which is not visible because it's hidden with the sidewalls. But I apply base coat and top coat there - thin coat, so it will not smudge when I let go the sidewalls for curing
Question: For the builder gel, you do one coat of the base coat, cure, and then the builder gel? Or 2 coats of base, cure after each one and the 3rd coat would be the builder gel? I know you said "don't cure" but I'm not sure if you meant not to cure the base coat before the builder gel.
The base coat does need to be cured before moving to the next step. There was only one layer of builder gel I believe, but it was applied using the "slip layer" (or wet layer) technique, which is a thin coat all over the nail plate, immediately followed by adding more product down the middle for added structure. Then cure. The Nail Hub also has detailed videos on applying builder gel this way.
No. But you should coat your brush in base coat first then wipe the excess base coat off before you dip into color. Then use that same base coat to clean the color out of your brush before using another color. You can use acetone or alcohol to clean your brush if you want but that will destroy your brush pretty quickly.
I feel like applying the gel would be really satisfying and easier than others, but I can't bring myself to try them, because I don't want to clean the brush.
By slightly touching the edge with a tip of the brush. But I didn't do it with the color - only base coat and top coat, because this way the shape (free edge) looks better in my opinion

I was wondering how big the pallet is so I’m glad you showed it next to and under your hand for the picture at the end. Thank you 😊 🙏💅❤️
So glad to see this tutorial!! ❤
Love your videos! Did you remove the sticky layer of the base coat to apply the color? Will this affect adhesion or cause chipping ?

I do acrylic overlay. Can I use a builder gel for my natural nails before putting on acrylic or would that be too much?
Do you use one brush for your light colors and a different brush for your dark colors?

Hold hands upside down while curing?
My UV lamp has 15, 30 and 60sec settings. Am I meant to use different ones for base and top coat?
It's gel or semipermanent gel polish? It could be removed with acetone or just with a milling machine?

hi, where can i get that cuticle bit with red band?
You have beautiful long nail beds
I think my major issue is polygel is so thick on my nails. I end up filing a lot of product off.

How do you get the builder gel off of the nails?
Filing or soaking in acetone.
@@crystald3655 thanks, I’ve been using it the last few times I did my nails. I like builder gel much better than gel x
Will uv light will damage my hands and give them dark color?
No, there’s 30x times less UV light compared to the UV exposure you can get on a sunny day at the beach . It’s not strong enough to get tan
How do you wrap the tip with solid gel?
By slightly touching the edge with a tip of the brush. But I didn't do it with the color - only base coat and top coat, because this way the shape (free edge) looks better in my opinion
I tried to hookup with your online courses and it keeps saying page not found?

What I want to know, is how many sets one color will do.
About 10-20 nails (1-2 full set for each color)
How many manicures can you do with each pot? They seem rather small...
No matter how close I get and go slow I stil flood nail grrrrr
There was hardly any product in the pans. After that second sip I could see the base
