    I'm from UK and we pronounce it "Wus-ta-shire". Easy peasy ;)
    Also, to elevate it to a whole new level; substitute a tablespoon of goosefat for the oil, use half the amount of Tomato paste and about three handfuls of finely chopped sundried tomatoes and add a tablespoon of brown sugar with the salt too.

    Worcestershire is hard for us Mexicans to say, so we called "salsa inglesa" ="English sauce", and we used for many thing from cooking to clamatos beers and micheladas.

    Sam, perfect timing on the Sloppy Joes! Every Halloween we have about 15-20 people over for Sloppy Joes and Nachos. And yes, we use the powdered Sloppy Joe mix. This year I may have to mix it up and try your recipe. Oh and the crunchy French Onions? How did I never think of that?!? Love your videos!

    Worsh-cher-shire. You leave out the chester. Thats exactly how I make my sloppy joes minus the chipotle, and I use Yuenling Lager. America's oldest brewery. I put shredded cheddar on mine. I have to admit it makes me feel good when I see The Man cooks so much like I do. Thanks for helping me tweak my receipes. You're awesome.

    The chipotle peppers were REALLY SPICY because i'm out here in CALIFORNIA, so I just added 1 TBSP of the peppers, and 1 TBSP of the sauce it came in (the can).. Gave it a real nice smoky flavor, added sugar and salt, came out perfect.

    This looks sooooooooo good! I can't wait to cook this up. The last time I had Sloppy Joes I was a teenager at a slumber party. It ended in a Sloppy Joe fight when the guys crashed the party. We had it in our hair, bathing suits, the dog, and of course all over the patio. Sloppy didn't cover it. We all jumped in the pool afterwords. Hopefully this recipe will make it happen all over again. Only this time I am going to eat it instead of throw it.

    Sooooo tasty, too frickin' easy! But, I have a hard time finding those chipotle peppers in adobo sauce at the grocery. It's a big chain grocer, so they should have them. I'll need to keep looking.
    Question: How long do your onions keep on the counter? Do they last long there? If I put mine in the pantry closet, they go bad fairly quick, so I store them in the refrigerator.

    • @dannybrown5889
      @dannybrown5889 6 лет назад +1

      Really? Onions should last at least a few weeks in the pantry. The fridge will dry them out so be careful. For chipotle peppers, check the "Latino" section.
