  • "We See" (T.S. Monk), as recorded by Jacob Wutzke and his band. The old Gibson amp is stunning. One switch, one volume knob, that's it! Original 10" Field-coil speaker. All-original except power tubes and capacitors. Wonderful addition to one's studio.
    The DeArmond RC-1000 has a nice high-end, clarity and punch.
    This '45 Gibson L-5 sounds amazing acoustically. Punchy, somewhat dry and woody.
    Recorded with a DIY Bumblebee RM-5 Ribbon mic.

    Nice man, I've always wanted an Old L-5. I've got a '90 L-5 CES but it doesn't have that mojo. I just picked up a Br-6 from Montreal in July, really nice sounding amp. Is your chassis in the bottom of the amp?
