    The Rogue shown here also has 19" rims ;) KIA interiours look good at first glance, but if you take a closer look, they are considerably less refined and those extreme exteriours tend to age really quickly. There just is no real good design there, it's all flashy and show effects. That is exiting at first, but there is no real substance in my opinion.
    The design of the Rogue has a lot more depth to it, it has enough edge to look interesting yet it's aesthetic and refined enough to not wear off too quickly. You can have that in your driveway 5 years from now and it will still look nice and contemporary. Also, Nissan put a LOT of thought into the cabin of the Rogue and it offers so much more clever little solutions and nicer fit and finish. For me, the Rogue is the clear winner. If it will get the 12" infotainment display, the 20" rims, the sliding, reclining as well as 40/20/40 folding rear bench, the Matrix LED headlights and the Hybrid e-4orce 4WD powertrain of the international version (X-Trail), this would be absolutely unbeatable in the american market. But it's already very good as it is.

    The looks of the Sportage crushes the Rogue inside and out. I have seen both vehicles on the road and the Sportage always catches my eye and makes my head turn every time. I got a Rogue Platinum. Pros , comfortable ,nice to drive ,great pick up great features. Nice infotainment.
    Cons. Very buggy system, not reliable safety system (ProPilot does not work in the rain somethimes also it does NOT stop automatically like my 2018 Crv used to do. That Honda sense system was on point and never failed. Alot of different noticeble clicking here n there. If all car would work as design it be great but it does not.

  • @toyanucci
    @toyanucci 2 года назад +19

    This review comes off as very biased. The Sportage has every feature the Rogue has and more but you highlighted some features for the Rogue while not mentioning that it's available in the Sportage as well. You said the Rogue has more backseat space and oddly highlighted the Sportage has 39 cubic feet of space...yet you neglected to mention the Rogue has 36.5 cubic feet of space which obviously doesn't make it larger, but smaller 🤷🏾‍♂️.
    You also mentioned the Rogue's 360 camera when highlighting the exterior but didn't mention that the Sportage has the same feature with an even better implementation which you had to admit when talking about the infotainment systems yet somehow, you say the Rogue's is better.
    It's ok to be biased for a particular brand especially if you're a salesman for that brand but give that disclaimer up front and don't pretend to be impartial because you're not doing a very good job at it.
    That being said I like both vehicles and test drove both and I especially like the fuel economy of the Rogue but I ended up ordering a Hybrid Sportage at MSRP as it had more features and was less expensive than the SV trim Rogue which I liked but couldn't find with less than $4000 market adjustment.

      @@carsunlocked it’s not organic sounds of nature noise. It’s the noise you added. Listen to it. It’s a repetitive ticking noise.

    This is no comparison. The Nissan Rogue is miles ahead better than the Kia. Kia/Hyundai are notorious for their engines catching fire.
