Sony Vegas Example - Multi-picture screen with Nested Projects

It's not too hard to figure out how to do picture in picture, videowall, multiscreen or whatever. The trick in Vegas is using nested projects to add simple effects to a segment, and then chaining those together. You can then apply transitions (slide, wipe, etc.) to the nested projects, and flow from one multiscreen to another.
No audio, so don't adjust your speakers.

Is it possible to make custom frames/border around pictures ? Something like in comic books ?

Put the same video file on separate video tracks. Resize each track how you want. You could even offset them slightly (to play out of sync) to create a kind of disturbing effect.

Just put the same video in different layers.

Yep, just add more video tracks, copy and paste your video clips into those tracks and mask them as you need. You might need to do some Googling, but thats the general process.
