CasualSavage Hey Casual. question if i may... Once i turn on the green chroma key it discolours the twitter icon to a almost... purple. no amount of playing with the threshold will fix it.... thoughts?

Nice lower third results!
10:50 to see the final product. Showing the final product in the beginning so viewers know what they are investing time for might be something to consider in the future. Having to search the end of the video to see if I even want it is a bit annoying.
Thanks - this tutorial was back in 2016 so I have added examples to the beginning of my tutorials for over a year
is there a video that shows you how to apply it to a project? IE how to replace the green with video project?

Use chroma key
Just add the .veg file to your work, as the green acts as green screen. (not the rendered version which will be green)
BTW, do you know if there's a way to do templates in Vegas? Eg for when you're doing the same types of vids, but just replacing the footage/audio? Maybe automation? Thanks

I made a great LT with it ! Thanks a lot ! Btw you can also add the transition effects in the end so when it closes it can go back where it came from and it looks kinda good too.
Not sure why the Green is used : does this show up when this lower third banner is used at the start of a video, or is green being used as it disappears like Green Screen in the movies ? Really easy to follow and create (as I have just done) using this tutorial. I have obviously subscribed !!

Excellent video. I was theorizing Vegas could do overlays using green screen.
do i delete the green back ground at the end as i want it as a PNG for obs andas a overlay for streaming
You do the chroma key in OBS--There is an option in OBS as well, its just under filters.

hi good vid! i have one question now. i made a lowerthrid, i want to safe it so i can use it again and edit the text. if i save it as.. it put everything in 1 line when i open it, so i cant adjust the keyframes and text. what do i wrong?

you can use the green screen keyer thingie, basically the green background is a green screen.
When i upload a .png photo it has a black background. What do i do?

Why would someone use Sony Vegas for a lower third?
You could easily make a better one in Photoshop, and have a linear wipe left and right for the animation
Well, not everyone has photoshop, some people are more comfortable using Sony Vegas, and because it's simple to do it all in one software instead of switching
True, true. Just so you know I wasn't saying the tutorial was bad I was just wondering why someone would use Sony Vegas over Photoshop. I actually think you did a pretty god job
