I can't believer you handstitched those sequins one by one lol. That's so crazy, but kinda my dream (always wanted to make a dress and hand stitch the sequins, but haven't gotten around to doing that). But I absolutely love the laced up sweater. You made using that kit so easy so I might give it a try (was never a fan of eyelets mainly because I didn't know what I was doing lol)
Putting silicon shelving material under the eyelets keeps them from sliding around or getting scratched when I'm attaching the back. The Dollar Store has inexpensive rolls, or you can get a little more with better quality at Walmart. I cut it up and use it for a thousand different things.
@@coolirpa Please don't say that! I'm already resisting falling into eyelet mania. Ebay has a million different, inexpensive choices. My eyes glaze over and my fingers start clicking on one of everything!...and the tools...it's like going to the Dollar Store...help me!
Just found this video ... Don't know how I overlooked it till now ... Every sweater is fabulous ... Favs : Cream color with black trim / Gray with tassel trim ... Truthfully I LOVE ALL ❣❣❣
Uh, this I was incredible. Can’t wait to try the eyelet sweater DIY. And that sequins DIY was great. I’m going to try that with something simpler, maybe an arrow. Thank you for sharing this!!!
I have a plane black sweater that I’ve had for years. I’m happy I’ve held onto it. I already have extra yarn and yarn needle to I’m going to give it a try!!
First time seeing one of your videos I think. My favorite one is the sew on the tassel sweater. It seem to be the most easiest one to accomplish and the one you did was really cute on you. My second is the contrast stitching around the shoulder seams and bottom of sweater. It for some kind of reason make me think of baseball. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you in 2019.
AWESOME BLOSSOM 💙⚘💚 My favorite was the one with the tassles. I love that you love oversize sweaters. They are very attractive. I will also say you are a very dedicated and inspiring clothing artist.!
As I watched your video I realized that I'm wearing the same white sweater in the 2nd DIY right now! What a crazy coincidence XD Love your videos, you inspire me to be creative and have fun with sewing!!
Haya. Wow!!! All those sequins. I love all the sweaters. The eyelet one is my favorite & I have done what you have but on a Tee. Thank you for sharing. X
Hey Coolirpa love the 1st one and the one your wearing. The sequins sweater took a long time. I couldn't believe they wanted 90.00 for that white sweater. Thrifting is the way to go.
I liked all the sweater diys except the gray one. I thought the pink one embellished with sequins but that's more work than I would be willing to spend on a diy. I will try the two white sweater upcycles, those look super cool and easy. You're so creative, April. Thanks for sharing with us.

I love installing eyelets! Once you figure it out you'll want to put them on everything! haha :P
I tried it out and it was really fun. I love the way it turned out!
I know. I was like, wow, they have sequins already sewn in a string, but you do you. LOL.

I think she should get an award for individually hand sewing the sequins on 😱
it was definitely great practice LOL
@@coolirpa practice?? Naa girl that's straight up pure talent!! 💞
