Me too! It's a great trick, to size stuff up or down as well. I do it for my little nephew as well. Whenever he doesn't want to give up an item, because of the print or whatever, I just transfer it to a larger shirt or sweater.

My fave is the shoulder pad shirt. When you wore it cropped it didn’t even look like a sweatshirt. It just looked like a nice top. Also how cool would that lakers shirt be with gold and purple thread? Or outlining the Los Angeles with purple glitter polish. So many ideas!

And they may have been having a sale, offer a bulk purchase price, or have a rewards/points card. A bit pricey paying full retail at Michaels or someplace like that, but could also be done relatively reasonably. Or do a mix of iron on and painted on stars?

I've gotta say you're an awesome teacher!!! Your padded shoulder sweatshirt reminded me of a lightweight vintage coat I took to a tailor several years. The shoulder area on this coat looked much too oversized on me so I told the tailor to create that same shoulder pad affect and then lo & behold... that style actually became a big trend.....so cool !!! This is my first visit to this RUclips site. I was 14-24 during the 80’s, and these are the type of things I wore. I honestly didn’t think shoulder pads would come back, but putting them in a sweatshirt is pretty cool. Welcome back 80’s fashion. For the last few years anyway. I’ve seen some neon and leg warmers around and I wonder how much longer it’ll be until the BIG hair is back (or crimped). Or maybe it already is and I just haven’t seen it yet. Makes me wish I had of hung onto my 80’s wardrobe.
