Fun fact when the portuguese government started to realise airsoft was starting to get famous really fast, they created this law BUT, they wanted to paint all guns 50% of it flurorescent! That's mad! Head shots are apart of the game. If people are going to cry about it they should not be playing. And I have been hit by loads of head shots and just got on with it.
True , at a game last weekend only my head was showing and I got smacked real hard on the forehead :‘D the guy apologized but he didn’t do anything wrong , only my head was showing so he could on hit me there but I have to say it hurt like hell haha

I love it and it has for with 3 different pairs of goggles so far (i have glasses and trying to find goggles that fit and dont fog is challenging) it also comes in plenty of colors too. If the ear part comes behind your ears a bit dont worry, mine does that too, i have a small head, but it helps protect the back.
Crazy wyvern I know you weren’t asking me but I’ll try to help. There’s some earmuffs that just go over your ears and those might work. They’re meant for the winter though so they might be too warm. You can also just get some wire mesh ear protectors. To look extra tactical go for a headset you can hear through. Hopefully this helps!

Here in Belgium we play with a bit weaker fps (350 aeg 450 snipers bolt) and the rules are generally : Shoot in the chest, if only the head shows at a corner, shoot at it! If you don't want to be shot in the head, show all your body and wear masks! (i use an helmet, big eye mask and meshmask. Big paintball helmets are too big, not easy to aim and less immersive :) ) Nice topic guys :)
Airsoft is (and should be) a gentleman's sport. It's based on the players' fair play to call their hit. Not calling a hit because you didn't feel or whatever is okay, but it should be avoided. Same way goes with headshots. You CAN shoot someone in the head, but it should be avoided. It's another aspect of fair play.
FYI....in summer I wear a kilt (It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up) A "proper" kilt should be worn with a sporran, as I do. It just happens to cover the sensitive area perfectly! Just a little free info for "the boys"
I do think the person you are aiming at is the biggest factor - Has chest in view? Try your best not to headshot - Has only head in view? Youve tried your best, headshot them - Has only head in view but only has goggles on, try your hardest to hit their hat or something, cause you wield the power to ruin their day for a long ass time.

Outside I shoot more for the head it tend to be long distances so they just call it or get scared, and CQB I shoot for the head only if its the only thing i can see, I know people use saftey mask etc etc, but when your so close it just does not feel safe enought just to blast them in the head.
A lot of times the only body part that's exposed and can be targeted is the person's head. Playing this weekend I got a double-tap to the back of my neck from about 5 feet away. By the next day the two bruises had merged to form a single massive bruise. On the other hand, the guy was probably just jealous b/c I played with my new SSG10 and my SSX23 for my secondary, and everyone wanted to check out my loadout.

My field has literally no CQB restrictions lol. You could put your pistol next to there head, fire and you wouldn't be breaking the rules. You can even full auto (if you have a full auto pistol)
Getting shot in the head is inevitable, but like novritsch sometime does purposefully shooting people on the head when there not fully protected is horrible
i mean i aim for what i can see, if I can see an entire person ill aim for the body. on the other hand i really don't care where I get hit. whenever people apologize for a headshot/overshooting/close-range shot. it never bothers me, im there to hit people and also get hit, and if im coming up to someone straight on ill just shoot unless im behind them.

Someone walked up on me and I didn't see him. He shot me in the back of the head point blank, when he could've easily shot me in the back or leg. He essentially executed me, and I lost it on him. If you're outside the MED, then your head is fair game. If you don't like it, where more protection or don't play.
One of the big name youtube ghillie suit snipers from the UK aims at people's heads even when he can see the persons whole body and it really triggers me. It almost looks like he does it on purpose. No one else in his comment sections seem to notice either. Don't get me wrong, I shoot at heads too, but only if it's the only body part I can see (e.g they are peaking a corner or popping up from cover). If that is the case, then go for it! But for someone to purposefully aim at your head when they can see your whole body is bad sportmanship in my opinion.
I actually prefer aiming for the head in a situation when my target is wearing a plate carrier or a vest. When it's a longer shot, these guys don't feel it so well and they tend not to call it(unintentionaly).
I've generally practiced hearing the shot on a vest so it's from person to person. Though I was shot in the head recently and I was stark raving mad because it came from within a snipers MED from a sniper. The only time I will ocmplain about a head shot is if it's intentionally done to inflict pain within an MED. If it's the only shot you have I have no quarrel with you.
@@Church449 When dude is running away with a flag for example and you hit him from the back from a larger distance, the most reliable way for me to kill him is to aim for the head. Some of the plates are soft and they won't rly feel it, while shooting their gun they won't hear it for example. It really depends on the situation and I definitely prefer to hit the torso or legs when possible.

I think we know what sniper there talking about 😉 and I have seen people who have been shot in the head and not called it I think it just comes down to the players if I poke my head out I know I might get hit that's it
Kicking Mustang certainly has that reputation. and fair play. as they said, you are responsible for your own safety, and if you get hit in the head, so be it. it hurts but thats the sport

There’s no question wether headshots can happen. If you just can see the head shoot it. But if you can see more than the head don’t shoot the fucking head. It’s not a shooter game where you get kinda extra points for headshots. Only stupid people are „hunting“ for headshots

Thats why dye masks are a thing, but people dont use them but still crying about getting hit.

If your talking about kicking mustang then that's part of the reason I like his channel so much. He cares not for weak feelings so to speak lol.
Helmet, Full Seal Goggles and Lower Mesh Mask - What is the problem? If you wear only Googles, that is your call.
