I love this car and am getting mine in the sports version in a few weeks..i don't understand what all the complaints are about, but we all have differents of opinions i guess..thanks for your review, its appreciated 😊
@TotallyEV For one,I like honda cars..they are reliable. I'm driving a 2019 1.5 honda jazz at the moment and it has been stellar in everyway. It does not have the grandeur and thrills and spills that all the other cars have, but its cost affective and simple. The ZRV we are purchasing on motability,so it's a no brainer. The car may not match up to its rivals in its class, but it all depends on what your looking for out of a car...long distance driving, urban driving,comfort,style,eye-catching,sporties..I get that the ZRV is expensive for what your getting, and other cars in its class may offer more for less. That's why I say purchasing anything is subjective to your own personal opinion or view. For me I just want a car that gets me from A TO B with minimum fuss😂😂😂 It's not that serious to me. People just buy what you can afford..that's the key.
@@nigeltaylor926 just ordered on on Motability too. Only annoyance is the lack of a grab handle over the driver door.i need one on bad days. they cant move and existing one and fit it there as apparently there's an airbag on the A pillar
I've ordered mine today from vertu Honda. Was a brilliant test drive. Beautiful inside and just feels more fun than boring kia and nissan. Sport looks way better than advance too. Twin real pipes too. I feels quick and well dampened and the economy is fantastic no ev charging worries here. Can't wait to collect in 10 days
@@TotallyEV It's in CarWow's review. It shows you how you stowe it. You also seem to have missed its party piece with the electric tailgate. Hands full? Just walk away with the key and it'll close itself. We've ordered one. It's a fairly good deal at the minute on Motability. Never had a Honda or an auto, so it'll be a new experience.
have viewed some test drives in this car and it looks like the ECU has been tuned so the revs dont flare as much the simulated gear changes show that the revs drop and it changes gears, similar to what you would see in an ICE which is reassuring to know that its not always going to whine
lke your reviews especially as you've reviewed most of the cars which ive been looking at recently. ny current 1st world dilemma is that i can get the HRV and ZRV on the Motability scheme theHRV is only the elegance tri which is very limited and bland inside/ the ZRV is available in the sport trim with only a difference of £ 100 between the two. have you done a droving review on this car and im interested to know if the IMMD is a lot more refined and quieter than the much maligned but frugal CVT?
Thanks, glad you like the reviews! The engine and transmission are identical on both cars - I mistakenly mentioned CVT (in my HRV review) as it was part of the Honda spec page, but it's an eCVT system, which effectively is different from how a regular CVT operates. Still, both will have that same roaring sound when a kickdown is done and don't have gears as such.
They priced it the same as the previous CR-V but it's nowhere near as practical with a much smaller boot. The thinking was that last gen CR-V owners will go for this when the time comes to replace their car. Unfortunately the loss of practicality and the fact it is just not a CR-V may find customers looking elsewhere if they can't afford the extortionate price of the new CR-V. The current big discounts available on these new models suggest either Honda have realised their new pricing structure is a bit fantastical or they just were not selling.
What i dont get is. White one looks much more smaller than the black color. Isnt it suppose to be other way around where white one looks more expanded due to light color...its bit weird one this car and those rims are so ugly, like it doesnt match the looks. Rear side look sharp and front side look like nissan juke or some sht

No worries, enjoy! What made you pick it over its rivals though?

The parcel shelf fits under the boot floor
Didn't seem to be the case... Where have you seen this?

@@TotallyEV cheers, theZRV apparently has a IMMD transmission, whatever that is. no ideaof the difference between that and the eCVT is
Grey and Crystal Black looks good especially black its looks bigger and meaner while white seems small and lame....
I have the blue ZRV with black pack which does look a lot better, for efficiency use Premium E5 and not E10 for better fuel economy

Haha no worries, but thanks for sharing.
Both the CRV and HRV just look more modern. This just looks unimpressive

Pretty ugly, in fact for the price of the top of the range a little underwhelming and dull
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
