As an example, I've never seen someone over the age of 14 say "please be my girlfriend" like they do here in Japan.
This gave me a lot of peace about the fact I can't find a significant other because of the pandamic.. Dating is way harder right now and virus is still really bad in my country. This is the moment when I realized that I haven’t had human touch since I left my home this summer... and I most likely won’t have any touch until the pandemic ends, because I live alone now. Few weeks ago I had a pandemic date at the outdoors cafe with a guy who I knew before the pandemic, and this was awkward. No hugs, no holding arms. Chatting about people who we lost during this time, then trying to distract ourselves talking about movies and books. Extremely awkward and sad.

I'm thankful for my fiance, because he's the only human being (other than the occasional quick hug with my mother) I've been able to physically touch for MONTHS. -___- I miss hugging my friends and being in large groups! I miss going to conventions and being surrounded by so many fellow dorks! ;__; I miss being social OFFLINE. I do it as often as I can, like at work or when I'm grocery shopping. Talking through a mask is the only social thing I can do nowadays and it's frustrating. But you'll never hear me complaining. I'm just venting my frustrations and anxieties. But I'm fine with the masks and distancing. I'm a high risk person, after all. I hate living in fear, but thankfully all of this is slowly becoming the norm, so it's less strenuous than it was a few months ago. I'm hopeful that a vaccine will be available to everyone by mid-2021, so hopefully the days will go by quickly. Stay safe, everyone!
Ha! I was awkward (and boring) BEFORE the pandemic, nice. I already blurted the question "Are you clean?" a week before lockdown (in March), and the guy (my trainer) had a hard time deciding how to answer that, eventually, he chose to answer all... gesturing below the belt with a confident "yes" with a smile and a very wishful shrug when gesturing towards his chest saying "hopefully?". My reaction was priceless... and that training hour session was heavy on AWKWARD. I wonder if I will have a trainer when this is over.

WEIRD FACT: Covid has been mostly fantastic to me, bc I'm an artsy street musician who makes everyone smile and laugh and they tell me I CURE their depression, and I played out every day and night (weather permitting) all over the New England seacoast (lovely adventures!)....and I spent 2020 with a cute 22 year old guitar shredder girl, and we spent every day together like boyfriend and girlfriend, even sleeping together EVERY night....but it was PLATONIC. She said she was in love with me and wanted to be my GF, but she was such a special friend, that I didn't want to LOSE HER when a romantic ship sinks, as it always does. Plus she smoked cigs and had insecurity issues, which are not GF material for me. BUT EVERY SINGLE NIGHT we slept together and snuggled like kittens and it was fantastic! But then she had a nervous breakdown and has since ghosted me. Ouch.
Possibly when August ends..... I feel like there's more in store with only a week left. Ya never know! Did you hear about the GMO mosquitos being released in Florida and the killer hornets are on their way there too... Yes! Things are great👍
Also that could sadly be true until we get the vaccine. Look at New Zealand's latest outbreak. They were 100 data completely free of the virus and then some family found they had it. No idea where they got it from... hadn't been anywhere overseas, didn't know anyone who had. NZ started testing everyone like mad in that region... More people have come back positive and it's only recently they have found this. If it was asymptomatic then I the outbreak would have been more like Victoria's (Melbourne's) atm. But there's theories pointing to frozen dinner meals. They had them from overseas, the virus frozen and preserved. Then thawed out when heated up and no one would wash their hands after heating up the plastic frozen dinners. And bam infected. Pretty sad really. But it's important to think about all areas you could potentially get infected, I guess.

Also that could sadly be true until we get the vaccine. Look at New Zealand's latest outbreak. They were 100 data completely free of the virus and then some family found they had it. No idea where they got it from... hadn't been anywhere overseas, didn't know anyone who had. NZ started testing everyone like mad in that region... More people have come back positive and it's only recently they have found this.
If it was asymptomatic then I the outbreak would have been more like Victoria's (Melbourne's) atm.
But there's theories pointing to frozen dinner meals. They had them from overseas, the virus frozen and preserved. Then thawed out when heated up and no one would wash their hands after heating up the plastic frozen dinners. And bam infected.
Pretty sad really. But it's important to think about all areas you could potentially get infected, I guess.
