Great video! Better than the demo video by the makers themselves!

Thanks the video is very useful.
I find that the carrier is very tight as the circumference between coloured sliders doesn't adjust in any way so even for a 4.5kg newborn it's very tight around the chest - it feels like if I were to take a proper breath I would crush her and it must be quite difficult for her to breathe.
It's even worse for my wife, because boobs.
I can't find any info how to make it looser, or what am I doing wrong, everyone's emphasizing on that it should be tight - but surely it can be too tight? How to adjust this part?

Hello. You can loosen the straps at the sides a little. Make sure that it’s not too loose - you need to be able to follow the TICKS Safety Guidelines. 👍🏼

@@TheBabywearingAcademy I’m experiencing the same thing as the customer above, it’s way too tight and my baby screams when I try to do it up so Iv stopped using it and he’s only 2 months old! I purchased this carrier because it stated that it can be used up to 15 months.
Which straps should we loosen I’m not understanding your response please? Are you able to do a video on this?

@@blessingmlalazi9434 You need to loosen the straps that are under your arms (not near your waist). This will allow the sides of the harness to move forward and you can get it clipped up. Realistically the BabyBjorn Move will last until 4-6m. All carrier manufacturers tend to over estimate how long their carrier lasts. Beyond 4-6m, you will probably find that your baby won’t be supported from knee to knee and will start to feel heavier as their legs hang down and the weight will start to pull away from you and you will be better off with something that fits better. Have a look at slingpages.co.uk to find your nearest sling library and try out some options.

Any advice on keeping the head support flap sitting at nape of baby’s neck? No matter what we do it flaps back into upright position

Spend a few minutes folding it down when you’re not using it (waiting for kettle to boil/watching tv for example). If that doesn’t help, try folding it inwards, so that the edge is caught between the baby’s shoulders & the carrier.

Hello! Until when do you recommend using the head/neck support up when facing in? Thank you 😊❤️

Hi Raquel, If your baby is supported from the back of one knee, to the back of the other, and they sit with their knees higher than their bottom, you may not need the “headrest” folded up at all. As in the video, I tend to fold the headrest down - most head support comes from getting their base right. Once baby is bigger & no longer has the knee to knee support, you may be more comfortable in a different carrier, where the baby’s weight is fully supported & the natural curve in their spine is supported, then their head will rest on your chest. Having the carrier coming no higher than the nape of baby’s neck makes it easier to monitor their airways. I hope that helps.

The plastic clips seem to push against my baby. He cries a lot when I use this carrier

I would recommend using slingpages.co.uk to find your nearest sling library & going along to ask their input. I’m also happy to help via online consultation, if needed, as it is difficult to advise on what’s going on for your little one without seeing how they sit in the carrier.

I believe the design has a certain fault, as mentioned before carrier part is too tight also front clips of the belt hurts my baby's stomach while walking. Whenever i try using, she screams and refuses to stay in. I dont know whether i am using it wrong, is there anyone experiencing the same?

The front clips shouldn’t be near your babies stomach, they should be under her bottom. Do you have a Sling Library or Babywearing Consultant near you who could help? Alternatively, I can help you more if you book an online consultation via my website.
