Hay, Iv been given this sling, my baby is 6 months now and unless very tiered hes works out how to wriggle out of position from his fabric wrap sling,…. I saw you mentioned that this is only good for up till 3 months old and I’m going out to London for the day in a few days time and now worried about wearing him in this sling! Could you help please? Is there any better way to wear your baby in this sling at 6 months that will be comfortable for the both of us please x
Sorry, I didn’t see this before now. Google the “scarf hack” for the BabyBjorn. Getting a scarf under your baby’s bottom & using it to get their knees up, will help to distribute their weight more effectively around you torso & make them feel a little lighter. As long as you can tick all of the safety boxes mentioned in the video (TICKS) then the baby will be fine, it’s just that as they get bigger the carrying adult becomes uncomfortable in this carrier.
The BabyBjorn's are notoriously difficult to feed in, due to the internal harness. You can try loosening off/undoing one side & slide the baby on to their side. You won't be "hands free feeding" until baby is old enough to latch on & off by themselves.
@@flordelynvsthus7215 Possibly! Try putting them in it & use the video to help you do the safety checks. If you’re happy with the safety checks, then it fits. If you’re unsure that you can pass any of the safety checks, then visit a local Sling Library/Babywearing Consultant to discuss adapting it, or finding an alternative, or use something else (stretchy wrap/Close Caboo) for a couple of weeks & then try again when your baby is bigger. Hope that helps.

Is it best for a newborns arms to be tucked in rather than through the arm holes?
Yes absolutely! Newborns tend to want access to their hands.

What about if baby wakes and you need to breastfeed can you adjust it to feed them?

You're awesome! Thank you
Thank you! ☺️
Totally got one handed down to me. No idea how to use it.
