- As always, I hope this video helps. We learned a lot in doing this. This video was filmed in the summer of 2024. It was really hot as you can tell me and the camera guy Ryan were both on the verge of dying from the heat, but we got it done. I truly hope this doesn’t happen to you and your Explorer but if it does, hopefully this video helps you get it replaced and save you money.

As always. Coming in clutch with another install video
Trying to 😁
@@HoustonSpeedFreaksbro when bigger turbos? No one has an install video. You’d be the first!
30 days in on a brand new ‘25 ST, and this is the video I needed to see. I won’t tune it. 🤣 that warranty ain’t for nothing.
It’s not necessarily the tuners fault. More my fault for how I drive the car lol
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks it was a hard rip. And you’re right, I’m probably just paranoid in case something does go awry. What you do with these tho is inspiring homie.
You can't even tune the 2025's yet.
Thank you brother 🙏
This is true lol
You’re a beast of a mechanic, sir 💪💪 keep up the great work! And, thank you guys for the excellent, informative and humorous at times content! 🙏🙏
I thought id watch this as im expecting this soon lol!
Yeah, it’s already happened to me three times😂
When are you upgrading the turbos? Love the content though.
Whenever I’m done with the HSF turbo kit 🤫
@ sign me up!!
@@HoustonSpeedFreakssingle or twins? If it’s single I’m in. Told Adam from ZFG too. Whatever single drops first I’m on the list
Big twins not this bs hybrid BS turbos lol
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks really need a better intake manifold as well. Who knows what the limits of the stock one will be!
Planing on getting a new explorer st in the near future. I never keep anything stock. Was wondering what your opinion would be on modifications. To be more specific most power but still reliable. Tuner, inter cooler, down pipe, exhaust, cai, suspension upgrades, new wheels and tires. Would you add anything more things you wouldn’t get. I also live in Canada so cold winters so maybe some parts wouldn’t be a good idea.
Have you had to replace your rdu yet? I have a 21 ST, stock tune and am on my 3rd. I had Steeda rear subframe bushings, front pinion bushings and rdu brace on my original rdu and after about 3000 miles it was clunking a lot. Now with this 3rd rdu, I don't have any of the steeda parts in it so it would be covered under warranty
I have not had to replace my rear differential yet. I have had no issues out of it. I have seen people have issues especially recently with the steeda front pinion bushings.
@HoustonSpeedFreaks yeah I think I'll go back to my AWR rdu brace and put the steeda rear subframe spacers back in and call it good. Thanks for the reply
Knock on wood, and I've been lucky with only the parking module going out.
@josedelarosa6449 do you have any mods?
@mikeharris7412 looking at "upgrading " as we say. Looking at intercooler and tune.
Already had to get a new rear axle at 11k miles. Wasn’t that bad 🤣 0:42 but still had to get it taken care of
Lmao 🤣
Are the rear wheels adjustable for alignment seems mine have a bit of negative camber in the rear compared to the fronts or is that how it's manufactured?
How often you breaking them? Have u used dss? if so any issues with boot rubbing subframe? I break oem routinely when I trans launch, (4 so far)foot brake not so much(2 so far)I had to send back the dss cause the boots were rubbing the subframe and fitment sucked..
But for 200$ oem for both rear axles.. good price, I’ve figured they’ll last about 30-35 really hard launches then break lol
Also your videos are dope!! Love your content bro!
Every time i try and cheat, it ends up taking more time lol
You’re not lying, but to be fair is I wasn’t completely sure how to take the axle out of the explorer. I figured it would be like most cars but on the explorer it’s easier just to take the whole hub off.
@HoustonSpeedFreaks of course the first time is always an experiment in patience lol
