I have discovered recently that bcoz arcrylic is made from a type of plastic, you can permanently "set" it with heat, such as an iron (under a towel unless you want it stuck to ur iron!!). It flattens the stitches but you can make things like masks for kids etc this way. That's why the candle melts away the fluffy bits - fantastic idea by the way!!! P.S it's called "killing" your yarn if anyone wants to search it up. There is a channel that does a good vid on it called Sheepishly Sharing 😃 & Tamara Kelly Moogly channel does a great vid explaining it too
@@Dedra-od6dd yeah I've never tried it myself, never needed to tbh but I've seen it done plenty on YT. I think it's something you'd have to maybe test out first? Must be gutting to ruin ur hard work!!!
I like the look of the rose better than anyone else I have viewed. Yet your rose takes alot of patience. Don't know if I could construct all the rose. But the rose turned out very beautiful and looks like a rose when you actually buy one. Thanks for your time. Maxine
I am so impressed on the technique and the way you describe everything to this point. SOOO simple to understand for a seasoned crocheter, so I imagine a beginner could get it as well. I can’t wait to start making this!!!
These has really helped me as I am an absolute beginner!! Please do more tutorials in the future!! If possible can I request for a tutorial of an orange lily because it is my grandma's favorite flower and I would like to honor her memory by making one
I hade to find it it´s so easy, I absolutely could not do it this way, but we all are different and have our own way or making things. The original way I was doing the edge for 40 mnt, seriously I have na RA, but the reverse single crochet 3 minutes, I love it. Btw when I brought the roses to my friend as a Christmas present, she thought it´s alive. It´s a gorgeous pattern.
My leaf doesnt have the wide center, its just a flat oval. Im confused because it says to only do double crochet, so how is the size different in the middle? What does "work your way up" mean???
Thanks for beautiful roses! And you can connect a realistic flower of an iris? I rummaged all Internet, but didn't find a realistic flower of an iris! Yours faithfully, Anzhelina.(Translation my computor?z bad speac on english)!
You know, if any one you watching ever bought chocolate rose, when you eat the chocolate you could replace the rose with this crochet type one. You just put the yarn rose on the stem and leaves of the chocolate rose and place on display.! lol
do you have a pattern for a real tiny rose i have been looking but none are tiny as i want i need one to use for a little teddy bear i am making please and thank you love this rose just way to big for my valentines teddy bear
+Debbie Lurvey I know I've seen a video for very small flower tutorials but you could also try just not making the petals of the flower very big in the first place. I noticed that it only took a few rows before they started to take on the necessary shape. You may also consider making the roses using an even thinner material (ie, crochet thread or embroidery floss) and a smaller hook.

It does take quite a bit of time. But I think it's worth it in the end. Thank you for watching my videos. Best of luck.
I absolutely love the candle technique you are using!!!!! Im going to use it for home decor and amigurimi's. Thats so brilliant. Love your videos ❤
Thank you so much, you're very sweet.
The candle technique is awesome and satisfying to watch. Wooow!

What a clever way to make the crab stitch (reverse single crochet)! I have a hard time doing the crab stitch too!
Seeing her swing around: whoa! Now I find it easier to do than a reverse single crochet in a small space.
These has really helped me as I am an absolute beginner!! Please do more tutorials in the future!! If possible can I request for a tutorial of an orange lily because it is my grandma's favorite flower and I would like to honor her memory by making one
I have just completed a tutorial on a Plumeria, I'm uploading that today. I'm not sure about the lily, I'll take a look
This is a lovely design I love it and I’m finished with petals but I’m kinda stuck at the leaf part I’m winging it for now and see how far I get
Thank you so much. I'm sure you'll make a lovely flower.
Hello Sweetie, the backward stitch you are curious about is the crab stitch. Love your work! Happy Crocheting

Fabulous with the crab stitch. I lose my place doing it backwards. Thanks for showing how to do it forward.
I'm having trouble with the part when I say you go up and then down, mine all stay the same like a straight leaf
hi there thank you so much for you great effort and time to show us that great tutorial you are the best
I love this but maybe I’m extra slow but it took forever for me to make one. It is beautiful tho
Wouldn't using the candle also firm the stem up? As well as the rose petals, so once you join them into a rose they stay firm and keep their shape?
Super wonderfull the leaf, I will
hello! may i ask what kind of wire was used again?😅

Beautiful🌷🌹Their Gorgeous😍👌🏼👌🏼👍🏼👏🏼
does the candle just get rid of the fuzz?
+MusicAddictGrl yes
Yea it does it has worked really well for me
The heat melts the fuzz back. Don't get the candle too close or it will melt the whole thing!
Do u have a written pattern of the leaf and sepal?
You know, if any one you watching ever bought chocolate rose, when you eat the chocolate you could replace the rose with this crochet type one. You just put the yarn rose on the stem and leaves of the chocolate rose and place on display.! lol
I had a really hard time understanding the leaf demonstration ❌️😒🥱🤕i have to watch another video on this for my rose bouquet
Are there written instructions for these beautiful roses??
There's a pattern you can follow towards the start of the first video
It doesn't show how to make the sepal(?) Bottom of the rose attachment.
Good vdeo but please use a white color as the background..tq💝
çok güzel bir çalışma elinize sağlık ☺
tülay özlü by viik z,
Can we do leaves without attaching the wire??
Not really, sorry
The name of the stitch is Twisted Single Crochet, can be used instead of the Crab Stitch
The stitch around the leaf
is called a twisted single crochet
thank you so much
You are very welcome
Is there a English written pattern for the rose and all the parts to it?
When I twist my hook to go around the leaf it wont go through! I'm so frustrated.
Got it to go through but it was a struggle. Lol
I'm happy you got it sorted out. Thank you
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
hello you could put query patterns leaves. in the where you explain the patterns does not come out thanks
Espero lograr hacerlo ya que no entiendo ingles y no logro poner la traduccion pero ya hice los petalos. Son muy hermosas.
Do you mean fuzz on rose?
Can I use 4 ply yarn?
I'm not sure what you mean by "bubble"...do you mean the fuzz from the yarn???
+Tracey Henry yes, that is what I mean.
I think she is killing the acrylic to give it a cleaner look.

Just use a smaller crochet hook and finer yarn/thread. Will reduce the over all size.
