I can't for the life of me figure out why there are so many dislikes on this video. I just followed the tutorial and made a lovely little rose flower in a much smaller size to embellish a princess dress I crocheted for my granddaughter's Barbie doll. This tutorial worked great for that project.

@@t0xicichig0 her lovely accent and use of terms is a bit confusing. For example she called the loops on the hook chains. It took me a few minutes to figure out what she was talking about. Others may not understand that they shouldn't chain three after pulling through the first two loops for the double crochet stitch and end up with a mess instead of the rose.

I tried other videos about how to make a rose flower and they weren't as easy to follow. Thank you for your kind and patient explanation. I feel as if my own auntie were sitting with me to teach me crochet. I am currently inpatient in a hospital and learning crochet for the first time gives me something fun to do that keeps my mind occupied. Just wanted to express my gratitude for the time you took making this video. I am making multiple rose flowers from different yarns, and watching the video I hear your voice over & over so you have even become something of a companion to me in a place that sometimes feels lonely. I also wanted to tell you that I gave one of the flowers I made to a nurse who thought it was pretty; I had left long yarn tails at both beginning and end to make it easier to fasten onto something later, and she promptly tied it around her head! It did look fetching if I do say so myself. She said later that she got many compliments on it.

this is perfectly paced and very simple to follow for a beginner. i have minimal crochet skills so i’m so excited that they worked out for me with this project. my flower turned out beautifully. i had to pause and rewind a couple times, but that was on me. i’ll try it next with 31!

I love making these! I never knew making crochet roses would be so easy. Thank you! (FYI, after the initial chain, you need to chain 6, not 5 so you don't need to adjust the second row of V stitches.)

Your tutorial is so fit for people who already know the small basics. I busted out laughing with the random video cuts you made, and it even cut off your voice mid-sentence some time but you sped through it and didn't waste time on parts of repeated processes. I love this!
