I said it once and I'll say it again, this is by far my favorite rose pattern now 💐 it is simple, eliminates extra steps that can be seen on other patterns, and is sooo cuuute 🩷🧶
27:31 all I need to do now is assemble the rose and it’s looking great! I love the fact that you tell how to do each stitch. The ones I didn’t know how to do at first are Half double Crochet, double crochet, and the TR one I forgot what it’s called. After this I knew how to do all of it! Thank you for making this video.
This is by far the best rose pattern I've come across. I'm going to make your viral bouquet. I'm on flower #4 right now. Best of luck for your law school.

I’m soo happyyy!! After a week i finally finished my first rose ❤ (it doesn’t take that long to make i just didn’t have the right material and the time). I’m planning to make a bunch and gift it to my mother for Christmas. Thanks soo much. This video was rly rly good. Even for a beginner like me it was suuper easy.
Absolutely adore this pattern!! I've made so many roses from this and sold them in my shop!! I also tagged you on the pictures 📸! :) Thankyouu so much for this video!!
I have watched many tutorials on making a rose and yours is the best. It’s not too slow not too fast. It’s just right thank you so much. You clearly explain everything.
Thank you so so much, this was super easy (except from the leaf, I struggled a bit at first lol) and useful to get to know all the types of crochet, I'm gonna use this pattern a lot!!
Thank you so much! I have made a mini using your video and I want to point out that I absolutely love how it feels like an actual beginner friendly video as you make place-markers and also write out the steps (which a lot of crochet videos do), but you do the steps slower (thank god), and you have good lighting with really pairs with how you actually show the stitches you’re going into because I was able to check if mine matched!!!
Tysm for this tutorial i made these for my aunt for her birthday she loved them! Im also making more for my uncle who's coming and as a twelve year old crocheter your an amazing teacher thank you so much for the video!
I’ve tried so many crochet rose tutorials but this is my favourite one so far! Others are sometimes too big or too chunky or too circular for me and this one has been perfect. Thank you so much I can finally stop searching 😭😭
I have watched over 12 how to make a rose, I am trying to make a cardigan/jacket, your rose is the best made and easy to make, but my problem is I need it to be a square, can your rose be turned into a square if not I will try and combine maybe two videos to make this rose a square, thank you for your great rose video, I will show you what I come up with if yours can't be made into a square, I can't create but I follow very well, thank you again, hope to hear from you

@@sierras.stitches no problem! I'm obsessed with the sunflower pattern but now that I know the rose pattern it's so easy to work up with leftover scraps from other amigurumi projects. I know you're going to be focusing on lawyering, but you seriously have a knack for the fibre arts. I'm going to miss your work!
I typically can get around 15 roses from 300g (one skein) of yarn! It of course will differ depending on your hook size and tension, but my roses are usually only around ~20g each
At 9:24 she said I should have 15 of the chain 3 spots.. I had like 20 something idk why 🤷♀️ I did everything she told us to and I had more. When I assembled the rose, I didn’t like it cuz it looked like I had too many petals and it just looked bad so I ended up taking it all apart. I’ll try it again though and see if I have 15 of the chain 3 spots..
If you have more than 15 of the chain spaces, then you either have too many stitches from the previous row, or are not skipping 2 when forming the chain spaces
You are so very helpful! Thank you!! I’m a visual learner and really needed this. But I did get a bit confused on the leafs part. If you go a bit slower and teach us about the stitches your doing there would be so great! Thanks again!
All of the stitches for the leaf are used earlier in the pattern! So you can learn those stitches from the earlier parts of the video and just make them in green with the leaf pattern!
i have limited yarn but i really want to do this pattern. can i make it with less petals? if so, how many foundation chains should i do for the 1st row?
I had the same issue (but eventually just took a different yarn), and tho I didn't actually test it, I think you just have to take off 3 chains per petal ?
Hi just a quick question, I am having trouble with my wire for the leaf, is it just practic that I will get better at it or is there a technique? Amazing rose just can't get the hang of the wire lol
@sierras.stitches keeps poking out at the top I am using dk yarn as I am in the UK, thank you for your fast reply, also not sure if I am wrapping it tight enough
Yes I have! I've done it where I've changed colors 3 times to make a gradient rose. You make the majority of the rose in color A, then make the majority of the petals in color A, a couple in color B, and then a few in color C :)
I made this rose 4 times and right now im making my 5th one but at 9:26 you say you should have 15 of those ch 3 triangles but i counted 12 and i followed everything you said but i just dont understand :(
You could! I’ve done it before when I’ve been in a rush. I find that sewing allows me to take the time and shape the rose. Whereas with the hot glue, if you make a mistake, there’s no going back!

Do you have any tips on how to price your roses or bouquets? Thanks
for the 2dc in the first chain of the calyx, are they in the same stitch?
Each chain gets one stitch!

If you have more than 15 of the chain spaces, then you either have too many stitches from the previous row, or are not skipping 2 when forming the chain spaces
Hey I’m doing the rose with cotton may I now the length of the foundation chain stitche?
The first row is always 47 chains, regardless of what yarn type you use!
I love this tutorial thank you

how do we stick the rose with the stem we dont have gule gun
Having some form of hot glue or super glue is required!
Does it work with 2.0mm crochet hook?
Yes
Yes, but the finished product will end up smaller!
Hi just a quick question, I am having trouble with my wire for the leaf, is it just practic that I will get better at it or is there a technique? Amazing rose just can't get the hang of the wire lol

Great tutorial thank you.Wondering if you have ever switched colors to make a multicolor/tone rose. I was thinking of doing that for the last row only
Yes I have! I've done it where I've changed colors 3 times to make a gradient rose. You make the majority of the rose in color A, then make the majority of the petals in color A, a couple in color B, and then a few in color C :)
How do you do the color transition?
I made this rose 4 times and right now im making my 5th one but at 9:26 you say you should have 15 of those ch 3 triangles but i counted 12 and i followed everything you said but i just dont understand :(
keep trying until you realise the mistake you made cause it’s 15
Yes it should be 15! After each step count your stitches to make sure it’s correct
I love this video you are so good
Can I use 3 different colors in making rose with the pattern?
Yes you can! Just change colors when doing the petals.
Beautiful😍
Thank you!
Easiest tut love youuuu
this was a great tutorial . i love how my rose turned out but mine is a lot bigger lol
Thank you! Try a smaller hook or thinner yarn, or tighter tension!
is medium 4 yarn is the same one of 4ply?
Out of curiosity, could you not just hot glue the petals together when forming the rose as opposed to sewing?
You could! I’ve done it before when I’ve been in a rush. I find that sewing allows me to take the time and shape the rose. Whereas with the hot glue, if you make a mistake, there’s no going back!
