If i were to want to make a rose way smaller than this whats the math? Like whats the beginning chain need to be divided by pr something?

(Number of petals × 3) +2 = Number of chains to start with.

Hotter tip: At the end of each row, put a stitch marker. That way, if you mess up the row, you can just restart the row instead of the whole piece. (if you don't have stitch markers, a safety pin works)

I have a glue gun, but I don't have the gun. So I sewed it instead of having to melt the hard glue with a lighter😭

How long should i make the chain ??
It depends on how many petals you want to have in your flower. Mine has 22 petals, so I crocheted 68 chains.
Here's the math for it:
Each petal needs 3 stitches
(Number of petals × 3) + 2 = Number of chains to start with.

When I knit I must use metal needles but when I crochet it must be a plastic hook. The plastic crochet hook is a lot rounded at the edge and doesn’t get caught like the metal ones.

After cutting the yarn, start the next sepal by pulling the yarn through the next stitch, chain 2 and crochet the same rows that you did before in 1st sepal.
