Spend one minute silently reading the music below and follow these steps:
1) Set a timer for one minute and push start.
2) Count the beat and tap the rhythm.
3) Look at the notes and how they move from one to the next using repeat, step or skip.
4) Play the music with your fingers on your knee until the one minute is complete. Turn off the timer.
5) Put on the backing and play after the count-in. Try to match your beat and rhythm exactly.
6) Repeat steps 1-5 until you are playing accurately with the backing.
