I'm a 29 year old guy, almost 30 lol. Always wanted to make a good burger but it seemed daunting and like some of the other comments say, its all over the top stuff with crazy ingredients n stuff, but this video was down to earth and simple and I followed your vid and bought all of the ingredients you used (that jerk seasoning is really good) and the burgers came out wonderfully and melted in my mouth. Honestly I never had another burger like that before, whether that be from a restaurant or from other family members cooking for me. I liked it a lot! Thank you :)

Thank you! Nicely done. I've never seen anyone cook a burger in the oven before. I wonder how it is. We also never used egg in my family. It's brilliant! It would fall apart sometimes. @TheRealHeavenlyBites it has been many many years since I made burgers from ground meat but from what I remember, I'm sure improvements will shine through. I don't have a tray for the oven yet, just one pan. Maybe I can put the pan in the oven. It'll just be for I think 4-5 minutes.

Thank you for this amazing comment I really appreciate you sharing this! I'm so happy right now you made my day. Glad you enjoyed the burgers and that's a nice touch toasting the buns first I tried toasted brioche buns with garlic butter and that was delish 🍔
Don't mash up the meat before cooking it, if you mash it up then there won't be any small air gaps inside the patties that can hold the beef fat and juices, so if the beef fat and juices don't have anywhere to stay inside the patties they'll be dry, no one wants a dry burger, also no breadcrumbs and no salt mixed inside the patties, the salt will mess up the protein structure of the beef which will give it this unusual texture, and the breadcrumbs turns these patties into flat meatballs that you find in spaghetti
@@TheRealHeavenlyBites Haha you weren’t wrong about that and sadly I learned the hard way 🥲 Next time I think I’ll have to unform them to get that seasoning in real good.

@@TheRealHeavenlyBites my first attempt was alright! @TheRealHeavenlyBites probably some of the best homemade burgers I've had in a while. They melted in my mouth. I will definitely use this recipe the next time I make burgers 🥰
Truthfully I’ve been trying to find out if I needed to oil my pan before making 80/20 beef for a while and this just answered my question so thank you miss. You now have another like and sub
You don't need to have it. You can also use crackers either grated, blended or smashed. Failing that you can also use toasted bread that is either grated or blended.
Omg! Before I turned up the volume and saw her hands (color) I saw the seasonings and said to myself 'shes definitely black' 😂 Edit: Those nails are ca-yuteeee 😍
LOL this actually had me rolling around in laughter!! Yes I am definitely black. Enjoy your burgers and make sure you subscribe and check out some other videos. Much love and blessings.
I'm white, from England and I use these ingredients, in fact, i use alot more of each spice, as well as cajun spices in pretty much everything I cook, even lasagne bechlamel sauce, casserole and shepherds pie. I like Mexican foods though haha.
It depends on how well you would like it done, also how thick your patties are. Generally I do 1-2minutes on each side and then in the oven. I also put the patties in the oven once I remove them from the pan. Hopefully this helps ❤️
So I don’t have any of those seasonings except for the salt and pepper and I’ve never made hamburger Pattie’s before. Also, i have no grill so im cooking them in a skillet. Will it be ok just to put the salt and pepper in it?
Yes you can use salt and pepper by itself. If you would like you can finely chop some onions, garlic or any herbs and add it to the patties. Yes you can do the patties on the stove it doesn't need to go into the oven ❤️
You're welcome ! Checked some of your video's out, proud of you including Jesus in them, had a pleasant surprise there! Hope you and your family well, God bless.

Tried this recipe today...came out absolutely fantastic...but jus a lil bit on the salt side...shoulda did 1tsp instead of 1 1/2 for my liking 👍
That's brilliant I'm so glad you liked it. Thank you so much for trying my recipe. Did you check the salt content in your condiments (sauces like ketchup) sometimes they have a very high salt content.❤️
Your voice is so gorgeous 🥰 great tips thanks my burger patties always seem to turn out dry

@caddams5345 Thank you so much for subscribing and commenting I appreciate you 💜
Do you need bread crumbs thats the one thing I dont have
Easy Breadcrumbs at home
1. Get some sliced bread
2.Toast your bread until dark brown and dry.
3.crate the toasted bread and you get bread crumbs
You don't need to have it. You can also use crackers either grated, blended or smashed. Failing that you can also use toasted bread that is either grated or blended.
The egg and breadcrumbs was such a good idea, and i tryed it and loved it.
Thank you so much I'm glad you enjoyed 💜
Made these about a month ago and they were great, making them again tonight!

I'm white, from England and I use these ingredients, in fact, i use alot more of each spice, as well as cajun spices in pretty much everything I cook, even lasagne bechlamel sauce, casserole and shepherds pie. I like Mexican foods though haha.
@@666m111 It's actually brilliant trying out different spices honestly brings a whole different dimension to food 💜💚
How long do you leave the burger on to cook on both sides and how many times do you flip thanks !
It depends on how well you would like it done, also how thick your patties are. Generally I do 1-2minutes on each side and then in the oven. I also put the patties in the oven once I remove them from the pan. Hopefully this helps ❤️
I’m making your recipe right now! I can’t wait to taste them!
WOOP WOOP💃🏾 Lettuce know how it goes🤣🤣
@@TheRealHeavenlyBites the pun i can’t 😭😭
@@fathernoami 🤣😂🤣😂 we like to have fun around here. Have a blessed day 💚

Oooo that's really good. ❤️
This look hella good mayn I’m gonna make these for breakfast and dinner 💪🏾
Thank you. Please send me some when you do!❤
So I don’t have any of those seasonings except for the salt and pepper and I’ve never made hamburger Pattie’s before.
I'm bored I'm hungry thank you for this ima go make a burger
Yes! My kind of person👌🏾 Bored and hungry just make a burger😂
Before you put the burgers 🍔 in the pan do you heat the pan first????
Yes heat the pan first then add the patties and do the same for the oven x
@@TheRealHeavenlyBites ok 👍🏿 sound good thank you 🙏
@@bobtaylor3945 You're welcome 😊
This helped me alot thanks for keeping it simple
I'm happy you found it helpful❤
One quick question did u add oil to the frying pan when frying?
No oil added at all. The beef has a lot of oil which comes out naturally whilst it's in the pan.
I’ve been craving this so badly, ty😊
You're welcome Lovely!! Let me know how it turns out on here or tag me on insta

Hi
What is dried jerk seasoning?
I am in asian country.
Hi there, you should be able to get it in probably the Rajah brand or if they have Dunns River brand. Failing that if you can order it online. It says jerk seasoning but in powder form.❤
If i omit this seasoning, would it make a big diffrnt in term of flavor wise?
@@tranungkite No it won't make much of a difference feel free to use what you have ❤
Tq for ur replies .👌
@@tranungkite You're welcome love ❤
Do u smash any season at the topping like black pepper when frying?
No I season the meat beforehand and that's it.
