  • My first Ducati Streetfighter bought 2020, so it is three years already, fancy a new bike but not sure what to do, I've installed EU4 Akrapovic Road legal Exhaust which is pleasing to the ears, but it’s a total different animal when you give it some and some more, another highlight was just how comfortable the Streetfighter is, I have ridden this bike all day it has a wonderful seating position which feels very sport natural to me. The TFT screen is very clear with crisp images that always let you know when you are doing naughty speeds.

    Waiting for Ducati to add cruise control on it . And a fuel gauge if possible 😅. But cruise control is essential now for this price range

      @@TheEarlster yes ,atleast they should consider that street fighter is for streets . That is the purpose of the bike.

    I still haven't bit the bullet yet and bought one yet! Think I might go and test ride one. The 2 grand oil service puts me off! Lucky you have the option to upgrade... the SP would be sick I'm sure

      Mate, it's a hard bullet to bite, so take your time and commit when you are ready. I've decided to wait for a revolution change instead of an evolution upgrade like the SP, and to have fun with this one while waiting.

    She is mint mate. Nothing comes close in terms of looks for a naked but I would like to see how you rate the MT10 for fun Vs the SF.

      Cheers mate it would be hard to exchange it for something looks the same, I definitely need to do another review of the MT10, the one I took for a test ride was pretty amazing, but I only had a short term with it.
      If I remember correctly that cross-plane engine was to die for, best sounding engine out there imo.

    There is nothing better. I’ve got the same dilemma. The new SFv4(s) is a bit less loud and has 1 liter more fuel capacity, that’s all. Maybe better save more money and wait for bigger advantages.

      I totally agree with you, only evolution and not revolution changes, so I think I'm going to wait for that bigger advantages and have fun meanwhile.

    Just commented on an old video of your asking if you still have the bike, i think you still do and enjoying it, can you tell me about the heat in slow traffic, and how well it goes between cars considering the wide bars, is it easy and tight or you will have to watch out ?! Coming from sports bikes with clip ons so wide bars will be first for me.

      Hey TIMHARTTT, Yes, I still have this bike, and I absolutely love it. The heat is manageable, and it's pretty much the same for all 1000cc bikes. However, when the outside temperature goes above 34 degrees Celsius, it becomes very uncomfortable (thank goodness this is rare for the UK), but this holds true for most 1000cc bikes. I agree that riding a sportbike through traffic is quite easy. Sometimes, I think one can become too comfortable doing so because there's always that one careless car driver pulling out in front of you (definitely for me). At least when riding bikes with clip-ons or wide bars, you are forced to stop or slow down, giving you time to gather your thoughts and remap your path. For the Streetfighter, it's important you keep moving because it's not designed to sit in heavy traffic.

    What is the cost of the Akra exhaust? I think most probably it is euro certified.

      Cost at the time £4200, but now it's £5400+

      @@TheEarlster that’s too expensive for a street legal exhaust. Even the race slip on Akra exhaust provided by Ducati is expensive but cheaper than this. I don’t know what Akra and Ducati thinking of this absurd pricing

      agree, if I had to do it again I would of opt for the termignoni exhaust, it wasn't out when I first bought it.
