Dave Moss did a great job on tuning my suspension…over FaceTime! Left me with a tuned bike, better understanding, and notes for future changes and tire pressures.
I knew this bike would impress you. She looked stable even when you tried to stand her up out of the corners with the throttle. Fun video. Someones getting a hell of a fine motorcycle. Ducati Streetfighter indeed.
Great review! So good to see a good rider’s review of this machine!! I love how you ride the bike staying within 2nd and 3rd gear to let the machine show you what’s it really capable of doing!! I love this bike!!
I’ve had my Streetfighter V4S in race mode since the day I took delivery of it 14 months ago, even in the rain. I agree it is a wee tad thirsty with the fuel consumption.
I have the 2023 V4 SP2 version of this bike, full system and stage 2 tuning from BT Moto. The carbon wheels make such a big difference in this bike. The tuning eliminated the 2 cylinder idle, torque limited gears, and really made this bike a riot. I also have a 2023 Honda Fireblade and the two bikes couldn't be more different. For just overall fun, cool factor, comfort, and easy riding the Streetfighter is the king. Now you if you want to warp space and time with laser like focus and handling the Fireblade is the ticket.
All the coaches run mirrors at that track to watch the students, it’s not a problem there. Most riders there remove them just to avoid the distraction of having them. Most other tracks in TX are more strict.
Yep. Perfect. Only thing I changed was the mirrors, cause Ducati mirrors are notoriously “slapped on there” as a legal bare minimum. But if you’re buying it for the track, who cares? 😂
I’m a SS950S owner. I am more than impressed with it. The SF looks amazing to ride as well. Only downside I’ve discovered about owning a Duu-key is now I drink my coffee with my pinky out. Other than that. I wouldn’t own anything else. 😎🤙
With an aftermarket windscreen you don’t get any windblast on the tuono. The air pocket is big enough for your helmet. I haven’t tried the streetfighter but for me the only thing tuono is suffering from on track is the lack of clipons. Its way fun
Fantastic video. Makes me miss my 2021 Streetfighter V4. Sold it due to the lack of fairings. Would like your thoughts on the Aprilia Tuono V4 in comparison.
I have the SPs on my Streetfighter and i have to say, ....pretty fuckin epic. Definitely need the rearsets raised if your using the SPs and they are certainly my next upgrade. Thanks Yammie
🤔 the only thing we could improve on is maybe a 3/4 super sport faring with a slight rises clip-on…👍I have the Panigale and I want a more comfortable riding position! I didn’t want that much of a upright riding position W/no faring.. so pic your perfection🤷♂️
@@andycool80 Yes, the Street Fighter is a more comfortable riding position for sure. I own a Diavel also, so I already have a comfortable naked bike! The S.F. feels like a Super Monster, and my Diavel feels like a Comfortable Monster! I was looking for something different with the panigale!! And of course, I’m looking for raised clip-on’s that fit under the firing!!😱 Clip-on’s or rear sets?? I say again pick your perfection
Great vid! Are all tracks in TX that lenient with bike prep? VA requires all mirrors and glass to be taken off and/or prepped before heading out...big pain
I’m just about to buy this bike for city riding and canyons. Is the heat issue as big as deal as some people make it out to be? It’s the only thing that has me questioning buying it.
Hey, Yammie I have a question: is it possible to take any bike on the track as long as you cover the headlights? I'm planning to work on a chopper and scrambler with hopped up engines and turbo kits and I want to benchmark how fast and powerful they are in a safe and controlled environment.
It depends on your local track rules. I think you should be fine with a scrambler. With the chopper, maybe you need it inspected by the track before you race it. Might as well give them a call.
If I were to make a recommendation on these types of videos it's that I would like to see a comparison of yammis track bike. Obviously you're not going to go as hard on someone else's bike... but I think you would get a shocking amount of extra info from that.
i dont know how you look so relaxed on the grips man my knuckles would be white from vice gripping that twist:P and yeah i dont think you can make that bike any better from stock std its already made for it :D
Please Help!! Off topic to this video but Iam in a position where Iam able to choose between a 2022 R7 and a 2023 ZX6R..I know they are two different bikes and a R7 is more for the street (which is were I plan on riding) l like the look of a R7 but like the power of the ZX not to mention price difference. What is the better choice?
Go with whatever one you like more. That being said, I bought a 2019 zx6r and the extra 36 cc’s of the 636 engine make it much more street able. It also has the inline 4 engine which is music to my ears
r7 is a twin, summed up but not exactly - its a mt-07 with fairings basically. zx6r is an inline 4. it is entirely up to you. my thoughts are both great bikes and it will come down to what you want. you mentioned street commuting. both bikes will commute no problem. zx6r has more power and will essentially future proof you slightly. as in you may or may not get bored of the r7. again comes down to your preference. zx6r also has 3 power modes, traction control and abs. there is a bit of a price difference but i would highly suggest test riding both if you get the chance. and possibly look into the second hand market on zx6rs if thats the route you choose. nothing wrong with second hand bikes as long as theyre taken care of and you may be able to find a good deal. good luck. let us know what you go with. also- just a little side note. if youre not after all the tec and something around the 600-700 class, try looking into gsxr-600 or 750. great bikes too a lot of raw power. some tec but not as much as those newer bikes.
ZX6R 100%, two completely different bikes. I’ve got 18k miles on my 2021 and I ride most of those miles around town/twisties plus 6-7 track days a year. The ZX6 is so good. Highly recommend it 👍

Okay, Yam I have to ask. You can only have one after riding both. Street bike only no track days. Z H2 Tuned or the Streetfighter Tuned?

Excellent review! That bike is an absolute beast. The mid corner pull it had on track was mind altering lol. Well done.
#11:48 Missile Mode! Classic😄
Mirrors legal on track? All glass needs to be covered or removed here in NZ for our track operators to allow you out of pit lane
Eagles Canyon- members only track. Encouraged to tape mirrors or remove, but members don’t get flagged for it.
Ye mirrors should be taped at the least
File this under "just because you can doesn't mean you should"
@@Buyajetfromstevemain Is that supposed to make sense?

Puig screen will fix the buffeting and makes it even easier to ride at pace
Thank you for this great review, the joy is evident and quite contagious. The V4S is my next bike.
My bayliss v2 is the same in the brakes, honestly doesn’t even make sense how hard it can stop

Absurdly and mesmerizingly beautiful
Cracking video, but I miss the “other” guy…. Bring him back….
You know your at full tilt when your scraping the shifter!!! Jesus that’s impressive 🤙
Hats off to ya for that like 🤣😂🏴
From your vids this looks easier to ride on track than the tuono - is it ? Seems like you weren't even suffering wind blast as badly.
Much easier - you can spin loads of laps on the Ducati!
