A good, honest review. I bought a series 3 a couple of months ago ( £169 from Apple Refurbished) and am more than happy with it, despite knowing that the model may not be supported for too long.

Yes you need, but if any member of your family have an iPhone, you can buy an Apple Watch, and i think he can configure it for you

The LTE version without problem.
The GPS version will track your activity but, without the phone, it will not be very precise.
