I like your spreadsheet, but I have a way to make it more readable. You shouldn't format the values by dollars. Instead, go to your number format dropdown and select "More Number Formats" to bring up the Format Cells window. Under "Category", select "Custom". Under the word "Type:" there is a box - delete anything that might be in there, copy and paste the following text in and press enter:0"g" 00"s" 00"c" You can now select any raw gsc value in your spreadsheet (such as, 105000 for 10g 50s 00c, like the values in column G), then go back into that Format Cells window, select Custom and scroll down to find the one we just added. Clicking OK will apply that format to your selected numbers, so they look more readable. Now you don't have to mess with dividing by 100 and using Dollars! You can obviously still divide the numbers by 100 and modify the custom format if you want to remove copper values so they just say, for example, "10g 50s", that's not too much different. Thanks for another great video.
The differences between the costs of all reagents results in this situation: the cost of blasphimite can be zero, or even some people can make some profit because of transmute. In reality, Thaumaturgy is profitable even without the Gleaming Transmutagen byproduct. I've gone 126 knowledge points into Thaumaturgy so far and have made 1.5 million gold in strictly Thaumaturgy trades since early access. Ive been selling hundreds of blasphemite since last monday. Luckily i spent the entire first week only working on Tailoring on my alts. I was planning to start Alchemy tomorrow. But i wonder if i should steer away and choose a different secondary prof on my alts instead? I didn't really think about the fact that even though your Blasphemite strategy works on a "daily" craft system, it technically is not a daily craft, so people can easily tank the market on it while focusing on other aspects of transmutation. I wonder if it will still become quite profitable either way in Phase 3 once we can basically turn q1 mats into q3 mats with transmutation. But even then, the market will just begin adjusting until the value equals out and the profit margin will shrink to nearly 0 over time as people do it more and more. And you don't need an alt army to do that: Just one character.
Correct - At this point i'm building the alchemists up in hopes theres a new transmute in patch 11.1 if theres not then i'll eat that too, just hope the tailoring bolts can carry me through to 100 million.

You completely disregarded the transmutegen byproduct of the thaumaturgy/transmuation process. This byproduct is being recycled and is a critical part of the profit/investment equation.
His "cost to craft" is not accounting for the Mercurial, Ominous, and Volatile Transmutagens being made in the process and valued into the current market price for Blasphemite we see today. But he knows this and even mentions "phase two" at 10:44. Investors beware; this isn't the "sale" he's advertising.
Blasphemite will always approach a value of zero and only get closer as people max skill. Transmutes will pop out all transmutagen as well and are nearly free to craft once you max your transmutagen windows. This also doesnt even get in to people buying R3 Weavercloth and other mats and thaumaturging it in to Storm Dust and Bismuth. 20 R3 Weavercloth at 30g (so 600g) will produce 3.3 Storm Dust (385g), 3.3 Bismuth (165g), and 3.3 Mycobloom (66g) (all rank 2) AND the random transmutagens. So they can pop out (385+165+66)=615g using their 600g in mats and even with weak skill, that can be achieved since your R3 Weavercloth is carrying almost all of the skill to get you across the 50% line to get R2 output. All you need is 75 skill to make up after the 300 skill provided by using R3 ingredients, which is super easy with initial treasures and leveling to ~40 skill. Within 25 minutes you can get all of the profession knowledge and skill level required to print blasphemite with basically 0 cost. If someone is eventually able to get to the point where they can guarantee R3 output (im not sure you can with thaumaturgy), the numbers skew even further.
The margins will simply just get smaller and smaller over time as more people shuffle the reagents around I believe this is by design at that point it wont be worth it to shuffle as the prices are so stable, my theory is that the kicker to that will be using concentration to get the rank 3 materials out of the r1 or transmutagen. It's a made theory yes but I'm willing to push my alts to get to that point and showcase it to everyone if its bad or not.
@@Goldzen_tv I have to agree with you, it's hard to imagine with a region wide commodity market that prices won't equalize, this is why I'm not dooming at all, the demand of blasphemite is going to be so massive and people making 10 gold per transmute won't do that all day for the benefit of making 200 gold per blasphemite. If they do it and justify it then using our conc for better transmutes can't ever be a negative. Might just be a tiny alt army win rather than my expected massive win every log in

Hey Goldzen, Sorry to say, but in my opinion this video totally missed the point. As others have already said, the reason why Blasphemite is that cheap right now, is because the traumaturgy shuffle is profitable making Blasphemite a byproduct that could actually drop down near zero gold.
