Why are you running to the vault in the bank? You can talk to the bank teller and save a lot of steps for each alt

Moved from bandages to R3 Weavercloth bolts. It's only about 25g profit per bolt, but players are still absolutely devouring them by the thousands so the volume made up for the lower profit. It's brought in about 4m gold so far, but other players are now getting maxed out and the supply is now exploding while prices are falling. Good luck with the weight goals!

For my tailoring alts I am making the rank 3 spellthreads every few days with concentration using rank 2 materials so I am making a few thousand with each one. It is also helping me skill these guys up as they are all alts around level 73. I only have 11 toons of which 10 have tailoring so I am hoping that market stays decent as people upgrade their legs and need new spellthreads. I too too drank the influencer 'COOL AID' and went on the Tailoring Cooldown Alt Army band wagon. Only to find out, here lately, the cloth farms were nerfed and the price of Spools skyrocketed to insane amounts. Now my Tailoring Army has to sit still because they're all speced into Dawn/Dusk. I figured at the beginning, in order to avoid MONOCULTURE, to evenly spread out the rest of my army to also produce aloys & hides, which seem to be doing alright, at the moment. I figure to also get some chars into Gems and Sockets as well. Anywho, thank you Goldzen I appreciate your vids, because I am right there with you struggling to get my empire started, and all I want to do is reach a million gold.

One guy posted a video a couple of days ago, he has 55/25/25/25/12/0 points in his build, he just twists the cheapest resources and gets more expensive plus additional transmutation reagents and plus endless blasphemite, profit from one charachter is 110k per hour (semi afk), its crazy

I think you are not being conservative at all because prices on these items will tank as the expansion or even patch goes It's really like seeing the awakened elements costing 700g to 2.6k from cheapest being awakened fire at that time to the most expensive being awakened order These things will go down as all prices do On the plus side having 92 alts will make even the lowest of cd crafts give you huge amounts of gold in the end I suppose..

I dont get the goldmaking seems like tailoring and Alchemy are currently useless. I made more with enchanting logging in once every 3 days(30k gold every 3 days). do you have to login everyday to do this? cant we just make 5k gold per day with skinning? on top it'll take 20-25 logins to reach lvl87. i make 40k with inscription logging twice a week. sorry bro everything seems better than this 3k.

I underestimated how fast items would drop in value. Set on my beast fangs for too long, and cloth was too expensive in the beginning for a novice gold maker. The blue shard shattering has opened up enchanting though thankfully.

I cannot talk about the linning specifically, but lots of goblin omega flip for 2 weeks already (full patron orders + full crafts which give AA in all profs). Said that, those persons who control the market force other to leave undercutting in huge amounts to show negative profit and after a time increasing the price. It's a common strategy and provides millions if done properly

I was feeling pretty stupid for not doing some of the profession shuffling stuff. But I started looking into it and I couldnt find a single R3 reagent that is profitable when crafting with r3 mats. So basically even if everyone else already has fully maxed out professions they are still having to use concentration to make any money. Made me realize I'm not behind I just making slightly less because I use a bit more concentration than those guys for the stuff I make. Changed my entire mindset with goldmaking and honestly made me not worry so much about that stuff

Having 30 charges for making dawn/dusk isn’t that big a deal. Right now concentration is the limiting factor. I’m hoping that level 2 bolts will be profitable but they aren’t right now. Least for me.

What's your apprehensiveness toward CraftSim? That addon saves me a lot of brainpower. Granted, I still use my own calculations on bulk crafts, but for quick understandings of what is profitable, CraftSim is fantastic.

Whats up Goldzen! Love your stuff man and wanted to say I agree with you on the point that now everyone is catching up and I am realizing that this isn't sustainable. I spent a lot of time the last few weeks working on my main tailoring profession so that I can craft Dawnthread lining at rank 3. I made like a couple of million gold but after so many people caught up to me and started undercutting, its not only like 10% profit which is good but very risky considering the cost to make them and the need for them going down. For this reason, I am back to alt army which is why I remembered to watch your video haha. Also on the 9/11 topic man its crazy how fast time going by. I was just a little boy too but I was actually in Iraq which is where I was born and the whole family sat down all day watching TV afraid of what is going to happen. Your mental may improve if you get a portion of your army to start generating gold, I just got about 75% of my much smaller army to make t3 mats from t2 transmutation with conc, so everyday I have the conc I'll be positive on them.

Concerning the blasphemies - I think take the loss and dump them. I'm no market expert but i've been thaumaturge and I make like 20-30 blasphemies for free daily. Just through my daily shuffling. Also - take a look at jewel crafting, i believe the need for Rank 3 'Crushed Gemstone' is gonna go wild soon

Chill, you will be fine. You will figure out! I invested into cloth in early SL to make a killing. Overnight the recipe and drop rate were changed by Blizzard, leaving me with a bank full of cloth worth nothing. It forced me to write it off and then be creative with stock anyway. A lot of high goblins leave the game after a few months vs you will keep going until the next one, happy they made a killing vs steady wins the race. Some are playing strategic games, like hyping the price of rank 1 and 2 to eliminate competition and so rank 3 is selling. Or hyping the price of an item and then dumping their stock while it is hot before others realise it's not worth that price.

Why dont you use the addon craftsim? I think it would help you in your calculations
