Highly appreciate your work and I will be looking up a lot of videos in the future. 🎉 TWW will be my first goldmaking expansion and I always enjoy content creators which I can follow for my focus tasks
Thanks man - War within will be my first expansion where I focus on gold making mostly. Happy to have you on the channel any tips or tricks hit us up in the comments.
Nice video, although not very punchy, this video has everything a Gatherer would EVER need to succeed in The War Within. Fantastic video once again, you have earned yourself a like and subscriber sir, keep it up, I love your passion!
Thank you for the amazing content that you do! You make all of us better players. One note on the Hallow Fall herb farm, that can be done in party's. I tested that one too. So if you have 10 seeds and I have 10 seeds we can both loot the 20 nodes. I would love for Blizzard to make this solo only. One caveat is that once you don't have a seed in your bag, you can no longer see the nodes. The seeds are warbound so at least we can't sell them like in Legion.
That's super interesting I never even considered it, I also just remembered I didn't cover mulching tbh i think mulching is not worth touching the equation on the top mulch doesn't seem like its worth it. Thanks again

Between you and Manthieus I feel I am covered for professions this expansion. Didn't have time to check the beta at all this time around, so thanks for your work!
Nice work on the guide. Like others have said, one of the best on the subject. Solid, good information and straight to the point and NO paywall BS. Wish you the best of luck in the xpac. Will be recommending this video to my guildies.

Oh yeah i'm counting on it, so good for the economy - we have to consider how the bots go this time around. I see tremendous demand for all materials for a long time just looking at the professions and consumables. Fun times ahead
Great guide goldzen! We spoke briefly about finesse vs perception vs skill on beta - yr slides on that are great! (Im another aussie btw). A few observations - 40% of spawns are camouflaged so that phial is so worth it. There's an alchemy treasure in hallowfall that gives null lotus (worth getting when you're getting all yr knowledge point treasures). Caves are great for rare spawns - too much time for most and not as relaxing as flying..but good if you can stealth as a druid. The ability of druids to remove poison is good too. For ez-mine I found if the terrain is hilly if you max distance above them you wont get bombed. There's also a few spawns in hollows where the bombs don't spread. All the best for launch.
Ahh yes howya goin mate it was a good chat on the beta server. That phial will be fetching a pretty penny then, I believe you to be right about the advantages of druid stealth - druid master class - Thanks for the comment are you on Frostmourne if so ill see you around for sure.
I've been bouncing between you and manthieus and it's making me want to start tww on my dual gatherer instead of my pali that I've been maining since 2005 lol.
Follow your goals, I encourage you to write down what you plan to achieve week 1 and try and achieve it. I want to make enough gold to fund my alt army minimum setups might take me awhile but i'm in no rush.
Your content is ALWAYS so good. Thank you for putting the effort into creating those helpful slides. The soothing background music is always so nice and calming too
its a rather short time perspective to farm 1st week and sell, big money are in profession crafts, you might gain week 1 from gathering and high mats prices but then youll be week behind all the crafters who will be making big bucks and getting few fold return on week one investment
I believe Manthieus is also going full gather mode on launch. I think it's the winner. You'll not only capitalize on the early prices but you'll have a back log of low quality mats to power level all your profs.
@@Goldzen_tv well I levelled my main purely by gatherin ore and herbs in df. Wasn’t into making gold at a time, so by all means I didn’t minmax or anything. Just exped till 70 like this. Wouldn’t even kill anything. I think i made 5-6mil. Picked up jc/insc/bs/tailo end of s2. So prices per craft were 8-10k (15k) if I got lucky. That made me another 12m until today. But I missed the bonanza period where people were charging 50k or prolly more for crafts - while I was picking up herbs. So don’t know if this is such a winner. I had plenty of clients for crafts and thats just replying to them looking for crafter inbetween m+ etc. so not even spamming trade all day.
Hello Goldzen. Love your videos. Im a casual player, and will have about 3-4 characters in total. But for my main, what do you think of a combo with Tailoring + Inscription ?
I recommend Alchemy/Engineering on your main along with a dual gatherer to support it. The RnG with both early game and being consistent with it will get you all the recipes faster than people juggling multiple alts. Discovering the profession tools for engineering if you get lucky can net you solid crafting order demand. For the other 2 characters I would make a JC for vials and a BS for Engineering support.
@@Goldzen_tv Engineering, ive allways thought this is kinda annoying profession. You dont recommend inscription even though that was your nr1 income in Dragonflight?
Hey mate, great video! I watched it till the end :D I had a couple questions and I hope you can help provide some clarity. 1) You reckon Aqirite and Ironclaw nodes are just as common as Bismuth especially in the areas you mentioned? (i.e: Ringing Deeps) 2) How hard are null stones and null lotus to come by? Reckon we should first put all our kp into the increased chance of null lotus or stone when herbing or mining bismuth or mycrobloom? 3) Reckon it's worth the effort to "shuffle" AA from alts to make full deck blue gear on day 1 or it's just not worth the time and gold required for it? 4) Did you test to see if Perception does increase the chances of null stones and null lotus or Perception only affects the rare reagents such as crystalline powder etc? 5) Does the Phial of Perception stack with the Darkmoon Firewater that gives Deftness or they don't? Appreciate you reading and answering the questions mate!
1) I meant they are more prominent in those areas. 2) They come naturally no need to rush 3) Not worth 4) I did test it perception gives more rare's 100% - didnt mention it in the guide. 5) Not sure on that one mate.
Crazy work 😮 thanks you !! I have a question. Would you say that it will be more efficient to stay level 70-71 and start to farm asap, or to finish the campaign and then start gathering ?
Personally I will get my main to 80 then farm another 4-6 toons to level 80 via gathering. You will level to 72 in like 2 hours just gathering nodes FYI - no rush but you are stronger at lower levels
Hey, been watching most of your guides last few days and just wanted to give you a shout out to keep the work going ! Could you tell me an estimate of how much time you spend farming herbs / ores to gain the amounts showed in the video?
I believe it was 8-10 hrs not accurate just a guess. I was getting catchup knowledge the whole way so the numbers are not realistic at all. Either way gathering is going to be a sure win. If your patient and consistent.
Insightful video. always thank you for sharing 👍 I have a question. I have a dual-gathering dracthyr alt and I also made druid dual-gathering alt as insurance. Druid can save 40 KPs in botany. so Druid can start priority 2 or 3 first. What do you think about Druid (Prio2 or 3) vs Dracthyr (Prio 1)?
I think your 100% correct, but I believe your time horizon is short, when you think longer term it changes but still end of the day its up to you mate.
One question I have: Once you have picked up all your skill ups for the week do you think that Deepgrove Roots and Null Silvers will continue to be collected or were these only implemented for beta testing of gathering? If this is the case it will take many weeks to skill up on the regular weekly pick ups. The Roots and Silvers went a long way in quickly filling up our KP's. Some people seem to think that blizz will continue to allow for these to be picked up but it seems to me that this will not be the case.
Your right they had increased drop rate for the beta servers. The catch up method is a great addition for people who join later they can still compete. Just means going full sweaty on launch week might not be the best thing long term now that i'm thinking about it.
Do you think dual gathering herb/mine will make more gold than a tailor (boomie) specd in cloth finding doing 2x4s in the first few days of the launch?
Great guilde, all other gold youtubers just focus on crafting and do gathers ones with 30% effort. Does Phial of Truesight comes from trainer or is it harder to get like rep ?. Mine potential suggestion is since mycobloms are most common if you spec fongus forager you will get most null lotus, depends on price it could be biss talent
Specialization in Mycobloom for increased chance is wise but I wouldn't do it until i did all my 3 priorities first. I assume Phial of Truesight will be an experimentation recipe. Thanks for watching Rafa
@@Goldzen_tv also your 1 recomendation is go for fundamental that is perception and flying but since first week you only ger like 50-60 skils you wont be able to get plethore witch is like 75 skill. Dont you think first week rank 3 mats will be most in demand?
Best for gold Hallowfall/Azj-Kahet but harder. Easy to obtain will be Isle of Dorn less interactions there But less valuable materials. Personally I will rotate between all of the zones 1 hr each the swap otherwise I will get bored tbh.
Rank 3 in my honest opinion will be technically more scarce than rank 1 and 2 which if I know anything about supply and demand , then they will be more expensive how much exactly only the market knows this I can assume 20 times more expensive than rank 1
I plan to level my main which is a Death Knight to 80 first, I then have a level 70 Tauren Druid from remix that I plan to use for Dual Gathering (Minning/Herbalism) so is there any restriction or issue with me gathering on a level 70 instead of an 80 apart form mobs being dangerous around me?
No restriction once your level 80 has unlocked adventure mode. Which happens easily by clicking the telescope. It makes sense for me to level my main also perhaps 5 alts first then go farming or make 3 more dual gatherers and go hard.
@@Goldzen_tv Would you recommend me using my 70 druid and going Adventure mode and just gathering for the first few days after Early access? I am also planning on leveling a few alts that I want to play during the M+ season as well but then I have like 20+ other alts I will sit at level 70 in the main city and just spam Alchemy/Tailoring and will also use some to funnel Profession equipment to my main characters. Not sure if that is the right idea but like you I want to get ahead on the gathering in the first few days/week and not having to level my gatherer would save me a lot of time, does this plan sound decent to you?
if u could only have one gathering wich one wouldu choose?for me i just play 1 char Main i have enchanting and i prefer some gathering to kill time in que.FOr long term does mining or herbing wil be better
Thank you for good advice, one more question. When u look at herb and mining, wich one u see that wil be more revelant and in demand with rare materials. Mining one has more recepies but herb has one for flasks
If you are planning to create a website for your guides, for example, a personal blog, I can help... Judging by your attitude, you've probably already thought about it...
Yeah not my style unfortunately Benji. Glad to know there's someone out there willing to give me and hand but in all honesty the viewership and support is all that I care for.

I didnt have fully maxxed points at the time. It was just to roughly demonstrate the frequency
in which to expect the reagents dropping for you.
@@Goldzen_tv okay ty :)
how expensive do you feel that the matts will be? especially for rank 3
Rank 3 in my honest opinion will be technically more scarce than rank 1 and 2 which if I know anything about
supply and demand , then they will be more expensive how much exactly only the market knows this I can assume
20 times more expensive than rank 1
I plan to level my main which is a Death Knight to 80 first, I then have a level 70 Tauren Druid from remix that I plan to use for Dual Gathering (Minning/Herbalism) so is there any restriction or issue with me gathering on a level 70 instead of an 80 apart form mobs being dangerous around me?
No restriction once your level 80 has unlocked adventure mode. Which happens easily by clicking
the telescope. It makes sense for me to level my main also perhaps 5 alts first then go farming
or make 3 more dual gatherers and go hard.
How is the XP for gathering? Decent way to level?
I plan to level two dual gatherer's to 80 just gathering herbs and mining nodes. The 25% exp bonus and warmode
helps for it to do decent enough.
😚👌
Cheers Navid!
Mignon brother
if u could only have one gathering wich one wouldu choose?for me i just play 1 char Main i have enchanting and i prefer some gathering to kill time in que.FOr long term does mining or herbing wil be better
I would go skinning/enchanting then and do the daily rare skin spawn in the ringing deeps, and join 2x4 skinning farms
in the group finder.
Thank you for good advice, one more question. When u look at herb and mining, wich one u see that wil be more revelant and in demand with rare materials. Mining one has more recepies but herb has one for flasks
Ay Bro, what kind of mount was that in the end?
probably the new engineering mount.
nice guide - its pronounced "ir-ra-di-ated" (irradiate) by the way :>
Thanks I struggle sometimes.
for the algo
The elusive algorithm - I will stay pure and never sway
If you are planning to create a website for your guides, for example, a personal blog, I can help... Judging by your attitude, you've probably already thought about it...
Yeah not my style unfortunately Benji. Glad to know there's someone out there willing to give me
and hand but in all honesty the viewership and support is all that I care for.
Bro your guide was so good, you deserve more Like and Subs...
Wow, thanks! I appreciate all the genuine comments I receive there's no need to ask people
to sub and like my videos, I prefer honest feedback and comments above all else. Otherwise
it's just too plastic.
Nice guide like always 1 thing do you have discord that we can join
I do but i cbf working it out, perhaps i can add it and the community can run it perhaps.
@goldzen_tv do you have a discord server or are you just posing on youtube :)?
