After following this for 2 days, i improved SO MUCH, my average drops from 19 to 17 seconds and i got 2 pb today (15.85 average and 10.49 single). THANK YOU
Look Ahead Part: 1. BLD Pair Drill 2. Back Slot Solving 3. Piece Prediction 4. Focused vs Unfocused Practice Last Layer Practice: 1. Executing as fast as I can in practice, overtime it'll get in muscle memory. General; 1. Proper Cube Setup 2. Record your Solves and Analyze "Focused practice is practicing, WITH APPLIED FEEDBACK, consistently through the days until we CAN'T GET THE DAMN THING WRONG"
This video is amazing, and thank you so much for sharing other ways to improve look ahead besides slow solves ( which I feel take up my limited practice time), and for all of the other. great advice. I average 15-16 seconds but my look ahead isn't great, and I feel that If I improve it I can finally be Sub-15. Overall amazing video keep it up, and Thank you.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed! I also have the same issue with not having enough time for slow solves which means these techniques have really helped me.
I totally relate to the focused practice vs practicing when having youtube in the background. Lately I've taken to going to the park or library to force myself away from the computer for practice.
Im still 20-30 seconds i hate f2l so much everytime i solve f2l the piece's randomly go to the worst spot which is harder to find i also tried slowing down still did not work i hate f2l very much
In 2:37 I think there is better alg for that one like not advanced or like that and sorry for neat picking the vid was amazing and definitely I learned something
@@UK_Cuber you really should spend a week learning and utilising better f2l algs, it will significantly cut down your move count and save you at least half a second cuz less moves = less time
Doing f2l in the back to prevent me doing full turns has sped up my time so much im only a beginner currently trying to master beginner CFOP im getting about 1min average now 50 secs only 5 minutes after watching this i picked up the cube 2-3 weeks ago for the first time
The pair at 2:37 you can do L' U L to set-up the pair and then U' L' U' L to insert. What to did was inefficient Edit: Keeping the white face opposite to your open slot
man this can be helpful i already wched it 4 times and decidet to make some notes of that so i will remember that. and if this working i finnaly will be sub 20 . also you can do better finger tricks and inspect the whole cross and you do it witch eyes closed.
@@UK_Cuber its been a week and i had identified my errors such as pausing during f2l and cross to f2l transition I have been doing deliberate practice and it seems to be working I used to average around 16 and now i can do 15 comfortably
Where does this man keep his brain? Cuz it is WAAAY too big to fit into that skull. Mine is so small, I keep it in my pocket so it doesn't rattle n get more damage.
Because your impatient and cant train it for long enough to have effects, being able to solve at normal speed for a pair while knowing what case youmwill get next, is always better than pausing to see a case you need tk solve@Cosmic26s

Haha wow, that’s a very impressive improvement!
Wooow nice I average 11 seconds,
Second nice vid except this is more advanced cubing technique. Full PLL is a faster way for slower cubers to get faster.
Yeah, maybe. However I think everyone can gain something from look-ahead.

Haha, thank you so much!
Hey hi! 2:37
2nd pair insertion:
L' U L U' L' U' L
2nd U' do a push with your right hand.
I totally relate to the focused practice vs practicing when having youtube in the background. Lately I've taken to going to the park or library to force myself away from the computer for practice.
At 2:38, there's a much easier alg you can do:
L U' L' U L U L'
Thank you, I was itching to point that out!
when I saw what what he did I was like WHAT!
just a tip for look ahead and what helped me improve was practicing big cubes.
I don’t know how he came up with this solution for the case when doing the intuitive step of separating the pieces makes it a 3 mover
This video explains really amazing!
That was exactly the problem I struggle can not find a piece f2l
THANKS!
No problem, glad I could help you!
Thanks for the video, it really taught me much and I just got a pb single of 6.69! And my average is around 12 seconds
No problem and I’m glad you got a PB
thanks helped a lot
Im still 20-30 seconds i hate f2l so much everytime i solve f2l the piece's randomly go to the worst spot which is harder to find i also tried slowing down still did not work i hate f2l very much
Same here
Thank you for all the advice!
No problem!
super nice and amazing video ❤️🔥
Thanks
@@UK_Cuber youre welcome

Thank you, I’ll hold my hands up and say my algorithms aren’t the best so thanks for the advice!

@@3bldgod735 half a second is nothing, i cut down 3 seconds once learning those algs
@@GraduallyLiving yeah but different people have different results, that's why I said at least half a second, and an easy one at that
thanks for helping me be sub 15 keep up the great work
No problem, and I will!
Not listening to YT videos in the background made me avg from like 10.3 ish to 10.0x, wow
It seems obvious however I didn't realise it for a while and it also really helped me when I stopped.

is it a typo in thumbnail? agead?
How did I not notice that?!? Thank you anyway, it is changed now!
These tips really helped!
Thanks I hope this helps!
Thats dope, i use the same method
Nice, does it work for you?
These are great tips. I believe you average about the same as me. Any chance of a race?
Thanks, maybe not sure how it would work though.
@@UK_Cuber there’s a website the cubicle made called CubeDesk. We would just have to share invites to 1v1 lobby’s via email

hey bro i will try doing what you said for a week or so to see what happens i will let you know if this works

Great job
Thanks!
Where does this man keep his brain? Cuz it is WAAAY too big to fit into that skull.
Mine is so small, I keep it in my pocket so it doesn't rattle n get more damage.
Haha
2:37 why do you solve that f2l case like that? You can just do U L' U L U' L' U' L
Not sure, I was talking about what I was doing which meant I did the wrong algorithm!
Oh
are u english ?
in the second clip you were just lucky with your f2l pairs 😂😂
Yeah, but cubing as a lot of luck involved.
@@UK_Cuber meh
2:38 i think this is much easier U L' U L U' L' U' L
Look ahead ISIN'T for any skill level. Look ahead is important when you know advanced F2L, and you have all the cases in your muscle memory
Your average is lower than mine now :(
gg
Haha, sorry! Maybe using these tips you can get much faster.
also I get subscribed
Thank you!
2:33 U R U R' U' L' U L U' L' U' L is much faster
sick video otherwise!
Yeah, I was focusing on what to say rather than the actual cube! Thank you though, I will try to use your algorithm next time!
First
Well done!
look ahead is useless to me i treid to use it and train it and hen i did a sovle it did nothing to my time
Yes but it’s not useless to all of the top cubers who use it to get sub 5 second times.
@@UK_Cuber then why didn’t do anything to my time
You probably arent doing it right@@Cosmic26s

@@Cosmic26sskill issue it all depends on how much you care about improving
Jesus loves us all tysm
Your turning hurts me, it is so rigid. Pls make ut smoother and you wull prob be even more faster
Bro I am sub 12 without look a head and my f2l speed is 6 to 7 second
Yeah, that makes sense as I'm assuming your cross and final layer are very fast
