As much as i love the w201 but on track he makes a much batter performance than on dirt. Even if he was built to be a ralleycar at first, he looks extremely slow and next to uncontrollable on slippery surfaces
Yeah beacause it is 2WD. A AWD Audi would be much more suitable.

@@jasonstilgebouer3904 I don't think it's because of that; the e30 m3s and escort mk2 are quite fast.
The car setup and gearing seem to not match the stage type.
The 190 2.3-16 is original build for rally.
But before the finish the production in 1984.
Audi launched the Quattro so and mercedes nowed direct the two wheel rear drive never could win this.
So the launched a event in germany whit famous old F1 drivers on the nurburgring

Yeah, the road going version only had around 180-200hp, but that was with cats, detuned engines, etc. The "WAA" engine was originally pitched to produce around 320hp, and the later 2.5 16v produced in excess of 375hp. Considering this is a more modern, not necessarily classic rally car, I'd imagine they would have tuned up a road going version and added many performance parts or something like that, that's just what I see atm from the video
