I've been a Ye fan only recently, but now, boi am i a ye fan. Like... I'm a kanye stan. Before, every time i heard about kanye, it was just negative stuff, so i never really paid much attention to his music. Then i went through some hardships and gave a listen to 808 and heartbreaks. That changed everything. And MBDTF is definitely one of the greatest album of all time not just in the history of Hip-Hop, but in music history.

I was sobbing for 3 hours on repeat, heart broken yet some how, happy. It's my favorite album ever, not just for the music but for the memories attached to it.

My first real experience with Kanye was listening to Yeezus for the first time. Aside from all the usual radio singles, I’d actually never heard any of his music. I enjoyed the album so much, at the time I played it more than his other albums combined. There was nothing at that time that sounded like it, so I would never get tired of listening to it 💀

i personally feel like it is about the way that kanye's thought his life would be "gorgeous" if he made it famous. On the surface level it is but if you look deeper he still has to fight the same issue as he did before he was famous. he still has to fight with problems like not being able to fully express himself, being blamed for being diffrent, being considerd an asshole for having a lot of confidents en most of all racism. After being at the Heighets of Heights he still cant stop these problems. He confronts this with egotistical comments on how great he is, since hes music makes him feel in power. a line like "they forgot about two things my black balls" wont matter to people that put him in this position and wont do anything for him other than making him feel in power without actually being in power. Which ofcourse leads into the next song "power". sorry for my bad English iam not a native speaker.

I don’t think anything besides to pimp a butterfly will come close to executing that high level high art of an album Kanye has created. Hip hop was originally the voice for the inner city that became pioneers and trailblazers. The George Condo art Kanye made is a masterpiece of a statement that hip hop can be luxurious. That’s why this album will be top 10 in music history. And it’s incredible that Kanye has done it.

And then last month while listening to The Life of Pablo driving my family across province I was struck with a revelation. “This is the best album I’ve ever heard!” It was a clear, definitive, and true thought. While it's not my all time favorite, it's easily among my top ten of all time, and it's one of the most important albums to me. I can't quite place it, but it feels like it's part of me,, I can just *feel* it like few other things, like it's part of my soul.

But each time I listened to it I liked it more and more. I appreciated it more and more. And then last month while listening to The Life of Pablo driving my family across province I was struck with a revelation. “This is the best album I’ve ever heard!” It was a clear, definitive, and true thought. And I hold it still. I’m sure it’ll hold it for a long time.

look i dont hate it but i would put college drop out and late Registration over my beautiful dark twisted fantasy look dont get mad at me i dont hate the album but it was to over hyped and some of the songs didnt Feel complet and if i do have to give it a score out of ten i will give it a 7 out of 10

While it's not my all time favorite, it's easily among my top ten of all time, and it's one of the most important albums to me.
I can't quite place it, but it feels like it's part of me,, I can just *feel* it like few other things, like it's part of my soul.
You’re so right I never really thought about it like a full story. Starting the album with stronger and all of the lights and ending with hell of a life, blame game, and lost in the world is extremely poetic
