@ZONEoffroadproducts I appreciate the fast response! A video would be great but I understand the circumstances. Thanks anyways, I look forward to purchasing the kit and learning how to install it. As soon as this weather warms up here in Minnesota and the snow melts away I will be ordering it!
@Chevy92SS Thanks for checking out the video. It was actually made by one of our customers after he purchased the kit. Ideally we will have promotional videos for all the kits and installation videos for the kits that get the most requests. Unfortunately the 88-98 Chevy isn't topping our priority list so it may be a while. The installation instructions are going to be your biggest utility along with Zone tech support if you get into a pinch.
@rickis08 The bumper brackets are stout and would support the weight of an oversized winch bumper, but with that being said they are not meant to be used in a towing or winching application. The brackets are 1/4'' thick, but if you plan on winching, I'd recommend reinforcing the mounting area. Also depending on the fitment of the new bumper around the bottom of the frame rails, there may be a clearance issue with the frame rail in the relocated position what would require some fabrication.
Although we were not provided with this customers tire specs, they look to be 33x12.50's. Typically 33x12.50s is the largest tire that will fit with this kit alone, and to help avoid rubbing they must be used with the stock wheels.
Great video I'm sure it helps a lot of customers purchasing this kit. I am actually going to purchase your 6" Suspension lift kit for my 1996 4x4 silverado z71 pretty soon. I looked over the install instructions and they seem pretty detailed, but it would be awesome if you had a install video for it? I searched online but haven't found anything related. Do you have a video that I'm not finding or do you have plans on making one by chance? A response would be appreciated! Thanks!
While the trucks are similar, it would require some modifications to fit on the '02-05 body style trucks. Being that we haven't tested it on an '02-05 I would be able to recommend trying it.
The suspension and body lifts are independent from each other. In addition to the 3'' body lift you can add a leveling kit or even a complete 6'' IFS lift kit for additional lift.
Hey I was wondering if you can order just the steering extension cause my brother in law give me the lift blocks and he has the bumper brackets he just doesn't have the steering extension and if so where can Ican it.
I had a 6 inch Zone suspension lift installed on my truck in Utah at a place called Jack-it. And i don't know if they were in a hurry to install it but my 4 wheel differential wouldn't engage and it just broke then my motor mounts weren't tighten right. After all and all my front end of my truck was noise diving. I dont know if it was the product or people who installed it. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Bry, I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with your truck. All of our kits are engineered and tested to function flawlessly with the 4WD systems when installed properly. Out of the thousands upon thousands of kits sold I can say this isn’t an issue we hear of often and it’d be near impossible for me to diagnose over the internet. My recommendation would be to start by following up with Jack-It as they are the ones that installed it and have first-hand experience with your particular truck’s install, they would be the ones responsible for the installation. From there if needed our customer service/tech support team is available to assist with any questions tech-zone@ridefox.com. Again, sorry for the inconvenience of having an issue with your truck.
Was this truck leveled? Mine is leveled and I'm getting a 3 inch BL and I have seen lots of Rams with the level and 3 inch BL that have 35's no problem. I just saw that you said it would only fit 33x12.50 and i just wanted to put in my two cents

How that steering extension for you? Still as responsive as stock? I have an 06 with a 6"lift but I need more!!! What would recommend doing?
Did you fabricate the factory hitch to move up with the bumper also?

Did you encounter any extension issues besides the steering shaft or was that the only thing needing extension
Will the front bumper relocation brackets hold a ranchhand summit series bumper? I have a 2008 half ton.
