Is the procedure the same for a “Reverse peephole”? My neighbor Kramer likes to check on me and we’ve got nothing to hide.

Do you do everything the same if your door is metal?
How do you know your hole is straight?
What about a metal/fiberglass door? Same principle?
Wow, I thought there was a special Peep Hole tool needed for tightening it up. Who knew it was a putty knife!
I'm thinking video for my house. I've got a locked gate at the street level and my front door is not in view of it although it has a glass pain in it. I have to look down from the living room now to see who's there.

I immediately noticed how off centred your peephole has been positioned. Look at the perfect alignment of the original peephole and the new one. Yours is slightly too far over to the left and about an inch too low (use the corner of the 4 boxes to make a cross and the peephole should go in the middle).
