The big difference is that while both are 12oz packages, the Nathan's pack has 8 dogs, while the HN pack has only 7. Each dog may be slightly larger, but you get one less total in the package.
Hebrew National is my go to! Buying the multipack at Costco is such a great deal. Hebrew's at Fred Meyer or somewhere are so expensive, but still worth it. I'll pickup a Nathan's next time I see it on sale.
There’s 7 hot dogs in the Hebrew national package from Costco but only 6 in a package from Walmart. It doesn’t make sense. Also I paid $11.99 for a 4 pack and that’s cheap. If you paid $6.99 2 years ago that’s insane
Hebrew National is all we buy but if you buy the regular package in the grocery store you only get 7. We typically buy two 20 packs so the hot dog to bun ratio evens out.
That's how I cook my hot dogs too. Have you ever tried toasting your buns in butter too, oh my goodness they're delicious, my son loves when we have hot dogs because of the toasted buns lol.
So you cooked them in the same pan at the same time with one side swimming in butter and the other with almost none and you vote for the butter side? Yeah, OK great video - super useful.
I just tried the Hebrew national dogs and was pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality. I definitely like them better over Nathan's I do dislike how small they were though. The HN dogs are more suited for a regular slice of white bread
I wonder how they would stack up with the Costco All beef hotdog. We used to be able to get Nathen's in Ontario but not anymore. That was my favourite but Costco makes a good hotdog and Polish Sausage.
I have been curious about Hebrew national dogs and Nathans too. I like how you said that Hebrew seems to have more spices. I get migraines and have to watch spices, but both would be safer for me than other brands that have unhealthy ingredients in them (soy, MSG, etc). I'm going grocery shopping in a little while and I'll decide then. I hope I can find some good hot dog buns there too. Thanks.
Mine are Caspers. I steam them in the instant pot and they are so good! They are a chain based in California and also sell their dogs at the supermarket.
Hebrew National has "more spices." Talk about NOT A CLUE! Spices? There are ZERO spices in a HN hotdog. There is ONLY A TON OF SALT! Spices 😂😂😂! Let me guess, you also like the Ford motor in your Toyota.
The only two hot dogs that I ever buy. All those other ones they can stay on the shelf. As a chef I just throw them in the pan put a lid on top, let them seer up real good on all sides. (Your moving them to much)...let the cook 1 to 2 min on each side.
What possible reason could you have for rinsing the juice off your dogs before cooking them… just why… that’s like rinsing your noodles after cooking them
I just found out of these dogs on sun by reading a review I usually get ballparks its always been my fav Today I got nats and they better they have a smokey taste not to greasy and soft
I’ll only eat Hebrew National. Great taste and just as importantly, no meat-byproducts!!
These are both excellent hot dogs. I cook mine in my air fryer for about 8-10 minutes. Delicous!
They’re both mighty good. I think it’s more how you cook it than just the product itself. Also, a good quality bun makes a huge difference as well.
Beef in butter? That's not kosher. Remember, these dogs answer to a higher authority.
i brought hotdogs to the office today. I got the Hebrew National. I put them in a crockpot in the morning and they were ready at noon. They were good.
I would go with Hebrew National the difference in protein per serving is telling.
The big difference is that while both are 12oz packages, the Nathan's pack has 8 dogs, while the HN pack has only 7. Each dog may be slightly larger, but you get one less total in the package.
I like both about the same. However I started buying the Costco dogs and absolutely love them!
I boil my hot dogs. You bring the water to a boil, out the dogs in, and turn the water off. Wait 10 minutes and they're perfect. Hot and firm.
Yes, that way is almost like steaming them.
Hebrew National FTW! Better flavour and better quality ingredients too!
Love Nathan's, gotta try Hebrew National

sorry i would never cook hot dogs in butter? steam them taste better

SHOULD HAVE BEEN A BLIND TEST
My favorite is Hebrew National uncured franks in Martins potato buns.
Same
2024: 4 packs of Hebrew National hotdogs pakages are $12 at Costco. So, doubled in price within 3 years.
Love love hot dogs w horseradish mustard.yeeeuuuummmmmm.should I bring Chili ?lol Wish they made a low sodium version.
Yes Patty! Plus some grilled white onions. Delicious!
I just tried the Hebrew national dogs and was pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality. I definitely like them better over Nathan's I do dislike how small they were though.

Nobody……..I mean nobody….puts butter on a hot dog.

Guessing you never had a boar's head hot dog
Mine are Caspers. I steam them in the instant pot and they are so good! They are a chain based in California and also sell their dogs at the supermarket.
I like mine boil
Nathans crushes Hebrew national
Love your videos!!
Love international Hot dogs Hebrew national hot dog
I feel like Nathan's tastes like a Hebrew National with more Spice and a Hebrew National has more water so it's a bit juicier.
Next time grill them, no butter H-N better cuts of meat and the curing process is longer. H-N is slightly better.
These Hot dogs are like the In N Out and Chick Fil A. Of Fast food restaurants. A cut above the rest.
Good bun does make a difference 😊
Try the Boars Head hotdogs they are excellent 💯
ohhh yesss
What about boiling them in beer? I've had awesome results out of doing that and serve with rice and cabbage.
My favorite hotdog is the Sam's club hotdogs, (the same ones you get from the food court) Always get 3-4 packages of them. Have you tried them?
Kogels are my favorite
I like both, but I like Nathan's a tad better. I air fry mine or grill.
These are the questions of the ages...👍
I loved Kowalski hotdogs when I was growing up. Also their stadium kielbasa!

Should of been a blind test
Hebrew for me
Is there.any dofference in trxture. Nathans are.skinless and Hebrew National aren't.
I just found out of these dogs on sun by reading a review
I usually get ballparks its always been my fav
Today I got nats and they better they have a smokey taste not to greasy and soft
Hebrew national hot dog with onions and a knish with HN mustard. NY at its finest.
Looks good. Was that sliding like shield for the stove? If it is never saw that before that is awesome.
Or am I seeing things?
It is a pop up vent fan.
People who aren't complete ignoramuses know you need water in there so they can plump AND you put a lid on it.
Air fryer are great for hotdogs.
Shit, I never even thought of that. I’m doing that next time
2:13 Why would you rinse away the hot dog juices? You're literally rinsing away flavor for no reason!
Kirkland brand far surpasses both of these. No comparison.
Both are good, but I am from the midwest. It's Vienna Beef all the way! However, Aunt Millie's is the best. And from right here in Indiana.
HN 100%
As a breed and born brooklynite I show love to Nathan's but I buy Hebrew national I ain't Jewish but I'm assuming kosher is the better option
If Miller dogs go on sale you'll leave these both in the dust.
Thats making me hungry!
Have you tried Costco hot dogs?
No clue how to cook hot dogs 😅
Love 💘 both
nathans come in a lot of sized, even a huge 1/2 pounder.
Love the Bore Head hotdogs
I love Ball Park beef hotdogs.
Ironically Hebrew Nationals taste more like what I eat at a Baseball game. Lots of flavor.
They're so close
This is a garbage vs garbage test
Glaziers hot dogs in th Adirondack mts are the best! Red skinned casing. Ummm!!!
I don’t think either of these dogs are good. Probably because I’ve had Casper Dogs. There is no other dogs like them.
I like the Hebrew, never care for Nathan’s
Shortage to gas coming soon prayers for Florida
Sabrett is the best
They are but kinda hard to get.
What is the carb count on both?
My hubby puts slaw on his hot dogs I use ketchup.
Heb National slays and i'm not even a member of the tiny hat club.
