Usage:
1. Unpack archive
2. Run start.bat
3. Enjoy
Notes:
- Required to turn on "Hyper-V", "Windows Hypervisor Platform", "Virtual Machine Platform" and "VT"(Bios)
- Because of WHPX (Windows Hypervisor Platform) accelerator it won't work on Linux via Wine or on Windows ARM (no solution yet)

System version OS shows 3.x not 5.x because it's an old canary build put into Beta 1, not final builds like Developer Beta 1 hardware on tablets on 3.x and 5.x phone physical hardwares, and also consumer beta next month and stable beta this fall October-ish launch

@@kingtom1839 To be honest, I like Huawei, and it was my first phone, but it's still based on the aosp to some extent, it has not reinvented the wheel unfortunately 😅, that doesn't mean that I don't like it, furthermore, I prefer it more then HyperOs or iOS, so that's a big win ngl)))

Honestly looking very good. I use apple at the moment because I hate android it’s not optimized well and animations sucks. If there was other os like iOS then I would consider it.
Exactly, divorcing from Android is gravely needed. The restrictions of Android on Huawei woke me up to a possibility of clean slate, starting again, fresh with your own OS. Android is not a well optimised OS, very outdated.
Unfortunately, I don't have space left on my laptop.
I make available space and download the zip which is 4.31GB.
It took up additional 13GB of disk space after unzip.
When I run Start.bat, I get error: failed to initialize whpx: No space left on device.
The solution is to go to Control Panel, Programs and Features, "Turn Windows features on or off" and check "Windows Hypervisor Platform" and restart. After restart, run Start.bat again and the emulator starts. Btw, I am using Windows 11 Pro.
Bro I activated Hyper-V and the emulator opened but it was stuck on the opening screen for half an hour.
Yeah it loads heavy for some. It is reported it takes up as large as 15GB of RAM lol

Do you think if this is possible to flash onto an Android Device? I'm looking for an Android alternative like linux but my device seems to not fully supported yet. Also it would be nice if this is going to be x86_64 compatible
No, this is HarmonyOS Next, that is OpenHarmony based with it's own custom Harmony kernel. If you want a mainline Linux kernel version, then the raw based OpenHarmony China and Oniro global versions are for you. But don't expect it to be like "Linux Mobile", it's more counter to AOSP

Yes, HarmonyOS is closed source and OpenHarmony is open source itself.

Yes, DevEco Studio has it, it's forked from Jetbrains IntellJ with all the plugins
Did anybody try to check the system files or try to use ADB with it to check if it's just Android under the hood? 🙄
yes and it shows nothing on the old ADB "recognised devices" and Mate 60 "Android factory boot files" are useless functions on HarmonyOS Next itself which has their own boot files and info. ADB and Android stfuff are residue from Mate 60 factory which shipped with HarmonyOS 4.0 AOSP 12.

@@I.am.PROMETEUS yup, that showed nothing and OpenHarmony [L0-L2 original branch] has multiple standard kernels as a "multi-kernel" architecture that can be used and attached such as Linux kernel was present with QEMU porting for the kernel on emulator since Hongmeng Kernel was just retrofitted on physical device finishing OS development in the week of June 21st, post-OpenHarmony development for HarmonyOS Next distro development. Some emulator shows kernel as "unknown" which is presumed to be Hongmeng Kernel in different canary builds of OpenHarmony-based operating system when resetting the cache of emulator, changing the img (image) files to later builds.

@I.am.PROMETEUS can't redesign a modified Monolithic kernel and an OS architecture, only fork AOSP to its limits. Hongmeng kernel itself can be attached of both OpenHarmony attached in multiple kernels and custom level and limited AOSP at the top of it's existing monolithic base modified Linux kernel, companies like Honor did theirs for their MagicUI ROM, built their own kernel solely for animations. Hongmeng kernel only featured on HarmonyOS Next version which HarmonyOS 5 based on OpenHarmony that succeeds previous HarmonyOS 4.2 AOSP. The new Hongmeng Kernel is fitted after upgrading API levels of OpenHarmony base from API 9 with NEXT Developer Preview 1 where they started advance work of rich software from Linux kernel standard system for computers, mobile and lightweight LiteOS kernel on smart things. I hope that resolves your line of questioning ;)

You just can’t say “we need more systems that are not android” without thinking about the consequences. Think about the developers that would participate and build apps for that specific OS and if none does that then it’s useless.

@@the_only_mattwe'll not gonna get other iOSes, we'll get other androids in terms of architecture. All that OSes without a big legacy is going to be even more terrible. Apple's OSes WERE miracle, they aren't anymore, but still better then anything else we have. We don't need more, we need someone who will introduce great alternative, but no business willing to do that. Only fuchsia is kinda promising, but this is google, so I'm surprised they did not kill it already
@@sumechoo I never said "other iOSes" I said we need other systems. It can even be kernel linux, but they must be good competitors. Windows, for example, had a good mobile system but what killed the system was the lack of support from Microsoft for the devs, Unlike the tablets that Microsoft with windows is better than the android tablets (Except Samsung).

laptop name: toshiba satellite blah blah idk
processor: Intel core i5 4th gen
gpu: Intel(R) HD graphics 4600
RAM: 4GB DDR3
Bios version: 1.40
Too few ram and processor is 4th gen intel which is obv not enough
@@Alphii_Fuck… I have an acer aspire 3 with 10th gen Intel but the charger is ripped off and it won’t work so I just lost everything. (I have so many data inside of this laptop.)
