correction: the video is talking about the windows 10 rtm version and not 22H2, and at the time when windows 10 was released, edge had that icon since it didn't have chromium yet. and groove got replaced by media player recently, and the windows 10 microsoft store was replaced by the windows 11 microsoft store.

I like the Windows 7 icons better than the 10 or 11. To me, Windows 7 was peak Windows. Peak in both looks and pleasant to use. I still have it on my desktop computer (now a dual boot machine). Windows 8, 8.1 on my laptop was ok (I had a windows phone. Laptop and phone communicated with each other/synced seamlessly}. The laptop got upgraded to Windows 10. Windows 10 is ok, but 7 was best for me. That same laptop cannot upgrade to Win 11 when Win 10 EOLs. So when that happens, the laptop will become part of the "Penguin Brigade" just as my desktop did.
Here are my favorite icons listed from best to worst: - Windows 7 - Windows 10 - Windows 11 I like the Windows 7 icons the best because they have the most detail.
The first pc I interacted with had Windows 7, so it holds a special place in my mind, but credits where credit due, windows 11 is way more consistent in the icons, it's even more consistent than macos now.

Majority of icons are from the RTM build of windows 10 for consistency purposes, especially when you got overlaps 2020 onwards
They also added edge to windows 7. Im personally a windows 7 user, and it's there on my hotbar. I didn't even install it.
