    Awesome explanation. I needed a video to explain a way to use a single strand knot to tied assist hooks. Moat videos they do a palamor on the hook, the kevlar I bought was too big to fit through the hook eye. Perfect find

    What size hook and what hooks did you use to make the assist hooks

    • @TheFishingKit
      @TheFishingKit 2 года назад

      Depends on use. For micro jigging i use up to size 1 vmc 7117 most are smaller assist cord would be 80-100lb

    what size of hook you use on 40 ang 60 grams jig?

    • @TheFishingKit
      @TheFishingKit 3 года назад +2

      You measure the hooks via the width of the jig. You want the size that sticks out a little bit on the side. Since jigs in all size range are shaped differently, the right size hook also varies.

    If you have a jig from 10g-60g, what hook size would you use?

    • @TheFishingKit
      @TheFishingKit Год назад

      check the width of the jig, not the weight. match your hook to the width of the jig. there are 10g jigs that are long, but narrow there are also 10g jigs that are short but wide. match your hooks with the width, not the weight.
