That war doctor theme my FUCKING GOD that's gorgeous. Some doctor specific elements not unlike how Matt had his introductory elements in his theme. That theme for the war doctor, it's like a war/action theme that's still distinctly doctor who, and the middle eight is one of my personal favourites of any theme. Simply gorgeous

I'm not a big fan of most Big Finish renditions of the DW theme. I think most of the time they kinda try to reinvent the wheel with it adding/changing a few notes, messing with the rhythm or just making the orchestration muddled and weird. Sure, they're experimental, but i think they mostly miss the mark on what makes the theme timeless and great. That being said the ones from 5:30-9:49 are actually really great! Carter finally got the balance of the instrumentation right with the Doctor of War; the War Master theme as a twisted take on the original +the iconic 4 drumbeats is genius; and the Unbound themes (well, the first 2 at least) are practically perfect, i wish they did more stripped back mysterious themes like those more often.
This is just my 2 cents on the matter, feel free to disagree. I almost included the OG 8th Doctor theme too, because it's great for the most part, and pretty iconic in its own right for the nostalgia factor alone, but that weird added note kinda ruins it for me.
