Hello, I’m going to rip the rear of my ‘07 997 Turbo w/ 36K mikes apart to install a Fabspeed exhaust my question is I was planning on just cleaning my o2 sensors with o2 sensor safe sta-bil carb cleaner instead of paying big $ on new ones. Or would you recommend I pay the extra & get new pre cat o2 sensors they say the post cats are good for long time. Some say don’t use the Bosch ones too?? Thx.

I have had no trouble out of the Bosch sensors, and I've used them in many of my vehicles. At 36k miles your O2 sensors should have a lot of life left in them. I don't think I would replace the sensors now unless they're throwing codes. Also, would love to know how the Fabspeed exhaust works for you. Thanks for watching.

@@DrShankopotamusdid you originally have a o2 error code or just change them for maintenance? And have you ever changed your MAF sensors? Did you notice the car run smoother after? Thx again

@@DrShankopotamusdo you need to remove the exhaust to replace the water pump on a 997.1 turbo? Thx

@@DrShankopotamusone more question. We’re you able to replace the o2 sensors without removing the air box and intake. Someone told me you have to be able to unclick and drop the o2 sensors out. But I don’t think you did & you just fished them down & out & then back up & in. Thx again

Going to change the oil on my 997 turbo & have heard some say they pull fuses to prime the oil tank and some don’t. Do you pull fuses and prime before starting after a oil change or no. I’d think it would be more important after a engine build or complete rebuild? Thank you
