With your pool and shoes bin just turn them around and put your winter labels on the other side. Then they are good for all seasons. But maybe u already thought of that. Your such a pleasant person to watch. I am older now and a bit disabled but I have had homes of my own and I was doing these things back when it wasn’t such a “thing” on tv!!! So it is nice to see people are so innovative. My grandmother (who was born in 1900) built her own entertainment center (out of a dresser) before they were even “invented”. So I come from a long line of “lets see what we can do with this thing..” people. Keep up the good work and for making an older person smile at all your hard work!!

one storage tip I have for you, if you will put you crock pot lid upside down with the handle inside the pot it will clear the shelf easier with scraping the new paint job. I store all my small appliance lids that way, even my instant pot, it just saves that bit of space, and every inch counts...what a wonderful pantry, makes you want to go and just sit in and read!!!! what about your cookbooks? loved this and please keep us posted in future how the pantry evolves....love it...your husband is a gem...wished you could rent him out....I need a "rent a husband" I got kitchen cabinets to paint, LOL

Are you kidding? Of course I was going to stick with it! An hour long video is just a Reader's Digest version of all of the hard work you folks put in. I had my morning chores done and my morning tea ready this morning in anticipation!
😂. Seriously, this all turned out so well. A walk in pantry is like having a grocery store right in your own home. You can see what you have, and what you need! Making shopping lists will be easy because everything is out in the open.
I really like your little baking center. That is so cute, and it certainly will be nice and convenient for your Christmas Baking Parties! So happy for you!
As for inspiration, I didn't wait for this video. I took an afternoon during the 4th of July weekend and did a bit of rearranging and reorganizing our pantry. As you say, it's a work in progress... Even after all these years. Have a great day!

A friend taught me a trick for adhesive labels - use your blow dryer to heat up the label. This makes them come off much easier. Works great on price tags too.

I love your grocery bag box. I, too save them. Many years ago my dad showed me how he saved them. Take a bag from the bottom in one hand and straighten the corners. Still holding the bag by the bottom, fold it in half the long way and fold a second time. Next, wrap the bag around 3 fingers until the bag reaches the handles. Take the handles and wrap them over the top to slip through the back of the 1st or 2nd loop and pull tight. There might be enough handle left to push through again. The bag will end up in a ball, which will make enough room to store a lot more bags and able to grab just one ball. Hope this isn’t overload!
Love it!! I don’t have a pantry in our house. We have been stocking up our groceries and have put three shelves in my DR which is in the back of the house and we never use. It’s only hubby and I and the girls are here maybe one holiday together so the DR is becoming my stock pantry. You and Marion did an amazing job!!

I love, your pantry. Looks nice and neatly organized. Thst was the intent. Eventually you will get more containers for the things you haven't put in containers. Glass containers keep everything fresher longer than plastic. That way food will always taste fresh.

Oh my, it was worth the wait , it’s absolutely beautiful I love the shelf of baking canisters that’s my favorite and now so much room to find things , I’m so happy for you. Marion does such nice work. I really like the store bag box he made you. God Bless your beautiful beautiful
You guys did awesome. Functional and beautiful. For later if you want, Dollar tree has great Felt pads of all shapes. Great for under baskets and containers. Helps keep the shelves nice when sliding back and forth. Also Costco has some great clear gripping liners that will also keep all of the shelves nice and won't change the look . I used them in my kitchen and love them. So happy it all worked out for you.

Looks great and yes you do have room for more. For the crockpot, turn the lid upside down and it’ll slide easily. I’m not too crazy about the oatmeal and drinks over the towels, looks out of place, but that’s just me 🤷🏻♀️.

I love how you used white vinyl for dark goods and dark vinyl for light goods.
So nice. Got me organizing some of my cabinets. I like the lazy Susan, bag holder and the plastic containers. Everything was so nice.

It looks amazeing loved the way you put patterned brick on the wall.that was inspirational.
Clear packaging tape as transfer tape and then actually keeping the packaging tape on top of the vinyl might help the pool stuff & shoes labels stay on those bins. I had to use packaging tape on a few totes/plastic bins in my coat closet & it's stayed for a few years now. Love your new pantry. ❤️
Great project! About the white paint above the baseboard, if you get a piece of moulding cut to the length of your wall (paint it white) and place a couple of inches above the existing baseboard, paint the wall between the base and the piece of moulding, it’s a great cheat(without the expense) for thick base trim. I saw this on Pinterest, so I can’t take credit for the idea. It looks great, though.

I used that same pre-painted faux beadboard panels in my shed t tiny house- kitchen,library,etc- the sheets did go up to like $25 but it's so worth it! I used it on the ceilings and walls and it looks gorgeous! (mine were like $19.99 a panel)

I love your new pantry. When you were doing the "brick" wall I immediately thought of Tom Sawyer whitewashing the fence. It is the perfect accent. The grey mixing bowl on the top shelf adds just the right touch.
A door with a large window portion would be the icing on the cake (no pun intended lol) to this beautiful pantry! It deserves to be seen!
