Fascinating story .Really.drives home the suffering of the.front line soldiers and civilians who didnt go to the camps.
At least the Germans had the decency to finally quit in WW1. The Japanese caused untold death and suffering. My dad lost a first cousin who was twin ,died from a mortar round ,as a marine in the last week of war. His twin went on to marry have a nice family and lived a long life.
