Hi Everyone, I am fully aware this is very similar video to what Bardwell published a few days back. It seems we both had one in progress and he was just faster to finish. I had stopped with the intention of probably not finishing it once I had seen his but I decided to not waist the time I had already put in as it was largely done from a process overview. I did though last night put some more in that makes it a little more In-depth in some areas overall. Sadly at times people will overlap with very similar content on same subjects however I do try to avoid making direct similar videos however today that was not possible.
I think it’s a good idea for you to put out videos that you think are valuable and don’t look at others. For example I can list 10+ of my friends off the top of my head that are NOT subscribed/watch JB, but ARE subscribed/watch YOU… personally I watch everything 😜 You would be doing many a disservice, is all I’m getting at. Happy flying! Hope the weather improves a bit.
What are your favorite goggles? I'm thinking of getting either the Walksnail or DJI just would like some advice. I'm glad I ran across your channel. I'm looking at putting cams in my Skymaster jets just need what you think is the best.
My goggles came in recently and I couldn't be happier. No HDZero VTXs so I can't test that and my analog module is still in the mail so not able to test anything. Only gripe so far, and it's not anyone's fault, is I still need prescription lens because my eyes are just that bad. Still can't wait to get all the parts in and start flying. Might be decent weather here by then.
I ordered my HDZero goggles on Jan 04 2023 and received them around late Jan or Feb 2023 I think. I'm sure they are not batch 2. I think you may have got that wrong in your vid (i.e. "if you got your goggles in 2022, they are batch 1 and if you got them in 2023 they are batch 2") and several hundred goggles were ordered in 2023 that were not batch 2 if I'm not mistaken...
Correct, the first few hundred ordered on 4th Jan and received late Jan to early March were Batch 1. The box that these came in has a sticker on it with a production date of late 2022. The goggles received in 2022 were the beta versions available to select persons only.
Ian, mention to your viewers, that the update requires a smaller (32Gb worked for me) because it must be formatted in FAT32 for the goggles to read it during the update. Once updated, one can use a larger card for DVR. This hit me because I was using a 128GB card and windows formatted it in the extended format, not FAT32. In the last step, you copy two files and power on to update. Since my card was not FAT32, it would not upgrade and it took me a couple of hours to figure out. Once I used a smaller card, formatted as FAT32, I was able to complete the upgrade.
@@rgross989yea how do we know. I can’t control the power with the setting but I didn’t have to do a special update? I feel like I should be batch 2 but the analog won’t turn off
It’s better but people seems to be posting mixed results. It’s hard to give an definitive answer right now as there is many factors. They reverse the FW so improve it for that especially but some still seem to have issues.
Have you heard of anyone getting constant single colored pixels all over from the goggle's internal receiver? It's not related to poor reception as I've checked it against the external VRX. Would just love to find out I can easily fix it, but nobody else has mentioned having such a problem, and Divimath seems to believe it's normal despite showing my findings.
@@MadRC Went ahead and put them on RUclips since the Drive links just cause the comment to get silently nuked. Not sure when HD processing will be done, but hopefully the detail doesn't drop too far. 6 months later... I still haven't taken my HdZero VRX out of the box. Why did I buy this thing? The sim is so much better. This RC jvnk isn't getting me flying. If it don't fly, don't buy.
My little girl was watching me fly wearing Transporter goggles, when I flew around a small group of trees and experienced some of that stroboscopic analog breakup. She went into an immediate epileptic seizure and fell to the ground. I called an 911 and tried to prevent her from hurting herself until they arrived. The horror of seeing my kid shake like that, I just put all my hdzero stuff in the trahsbin at a hospital. Never again. The bill for the ambulance was $1300 and We still haven't gotten the bill for the hospital. I don't know how anybody in good conscious could recommend such a dangerous untested beta product.

Men great video I always like to watch your videos because they are full with information that weed and you explain very well . Thank you .
Thank you! Fantastic work here!! Keep up the amazing work!
When will the Wi-Fi module be released?

Please do a separate video on how to install a battery for the clock
What's going on with the Batch 3 Goggles... I was told that my Googles are to ship this or next week.
Im w8ing for final version that will be in stock in my local shop. Now u pay full price for hdzero goggles to be a beta tester.
I didn't realise the wifi module is available?
Are you able to get the software power switch to work for the analog module?
Software powerswitch they say is not supported on version 1 goggles even with the new module bay. I have not seen anyone confirm this though.
Yes that is correct you need the batch 2 goggle to use it
@@MadRC is there a way to know if you have batch 2?

Just received googles today and seem they are on the latest version
Just check as there was a release after the main one.
When did you order them? I placed mine on feb 1, and wondering what the pipeline delay is.

My hdzero goggles do NOT turn off the analog module regardless of the analogrx setting. Why is that?
That options is only for the Batch 2 goggles, when did you get them ?.
@@MadRC I ordered them in Jan. Received them in March. They were already above 9 in the software.

The best tweak of batch 2 is the lose lens
I'm glad I canceled the hd zero.. all this is updating and bugs fixing should be more simple
Good afternoon, maybe you can help the Ukrainian soldiers with drones or spare parts for them, we will be very grateful.
