- In this video I will share my process on how I made my Mezco-style Empire Strikes Back Boba Fett custom. This 1/12 scale figure is a fairly straight forward build with almost no sewing required!
You will need a base figure such as the Damtoys Drawman, a donor Fett for the armour such as MAFEX of Hasbro Black Series. You can also use the Bandai Model Kit or 3D printed parts. And some ready-made clothes (jumpsuit/shirt) which can be found on eBay (check out GPSlot).

what the hyper-real line of toys could've been, but instead Hasbro gave us a metal skeleton wrapped in a condom.
Agreed. Although that HyperReal line was also a strange scale.. like 8" which doesn't fit with anything else in the colleciton.
Very cool!
AMAZING WORK!!
Thanks!
That's the best 6 inch Boba fett figure out there no comparison the best ever wow!!!!!
No surprises here, amazing incredible - your skills with the lightsa.... eh... Your work gets better and better, Paul :D
Thanks Uffe! Really appreciate it.
Awesome work!🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate it
So cool buddy!! Great video for people to follow along to 😎👌🙌
Couldn’t have done it without you. 🙏🏻
So cool.
I would love to see a Darth Vader in the future
Dude I been trying to make a dengar not realizing I can just dremmel the black series armor off and make the suit soft goods. Thanks for the inspiration!
Yes! Dengar is on my to-do list as well. You really just need a dirty-white jumpsuit and glue the armour pieces back on top. Lots of dremmeling but quite simple project.
I like your builds and just subscribed. Also will be ordering the drawman. Thanks!👍
FYI, it's not "May-a-fex". Just Ma-Fex 🙂
:)
So glad i found your channel
Thanks!
@@southp2470 Do you do commissions?
@@RyanByrne999 But I just showed you exactly how to make one! :)
Man your customs are always so impressive, keep up the good work!
Really appreciate it
Awesome figure, what glue do you use on your figures?
Almost exclusively use Gorilla Glue gel.
Any plans for jango would love to see it
The listed Ebay store no longer has the jump suits in Boba suit colors. What do you prefer then?
Yes I have noticed this. There are other options in a darker blue and orange. Both could be painted with acrylic paint to match Boba's flight suit.
i cant find the jumpsuit anywhere :c Love the figure btw looks grreat!!
Here is the yellow one. Maybe shoot them a message and see if they will have the grey in stock

Hi, I really like your video. Do you custom make these esb Fetts for people?
Would using parts from the revoltech bobba fett work as well?
Yes I’m sure they would.
IronHeart customs website isn't working. Is there anywhere else I can get a cape like that for mine?
Where did you get the custom ROTJ belt?
Would you ever consider making a clone trooper soft good?
Not really but I’ve seen people do that. There just isn’t enough fabric showing to make it worth while.
Sir, let me start by saying that your custom star wars figures are all turning out stunning and your process is very inspiring 💯💯🔥🔥😎😎
May I ask you a question.....can you possibly point me in the right direction as to where to pick up some of the materials used for your custom Boba Fett (from a few weeks back)......the materials in question are as follows
1. The elastic straps for his kneepads and the material used for the crotch strap lol
2. The material used for his pouches
3. Which color of shit exactly were you using on this particular build
I think that about covers everything I was curious about.....I appreciate you and your work, sir....thank you
Thanks for the comment. The key thing for a lot of my projects is that I'm ALWAYS gathering accessories or clothing or parts for my next custom. The things like elastic straps are essential for these figures.
1. For straps look on amazon for "flat elastic for sewing" and should be less than 1/4"
2. Those pouches were actually from the Mezco Ghostbusters jumpsuit and I painted them the same colour.
3. The shirt was grey and I touched it up every so slightly with a bit of blue paint. But getting that blue-grey colour for Boba's jumpsuit takes some trial and error. I'm sure if you look arond you may get an exact paint colour match.
I hope this helps.
@@southp2470 Much, much appreciated my friend. You really do fantastic work. I really appreciate the assistance and points in the right direction 🙏🙏💯💯🙌🙌😎😎
I have one more question if you'll indulge me, sir....how many Ghostbusters suits were used inorder to make the pockets for this AMAZING custom?
Any specific info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again for doing this figure in this way and also being willing to help, I really appreciate that!!
It would seem that all the grey (and light grey) 1/12 jumpsuits are temporarily out of stock........just about everywhere. 🤔
There is, however, an abundance of bright yellow and neon orange 1/12 jumpsuits in case there's anyone out there looking to make a rave scene Boba Fett.
You can get the yellow one and paint it blue-grey to make Boba.
Why didnt u show him with the unmasked head on?
It’s actually a Jango head but yeah you’re right.
How much? :D
If you're making one it'll cost you around $120. MAFEX Fett is $80, plus a Drawman is $25 and then the clothes were another $15-$20.

My only criticism is that you should have said “Boba Feet” instead of “Fett Feet”…
🤣 Very true! A missed opportunity
