Their best... the guitarist's were ahead of the times.
I know, right? This is 1976...Nineteen freaking seventy-six!!!!
If you ask me this is the first song that defined Judas Priests sound forever...this is heavy metal at its best...that scream at the end of this song still gives me chills every time I hear it and I listen to this song a lot....
This is one of their trademark songs. You don’t know JUDAS PREIST unless you listen to their older stuff.
Their music went through so many evolutions. I agree old priest is my favorite. Heavier nastier riffs, more blues influence.
@@kikivon3501 I prefer them when they had the "nastier" sound like you mentioned.
This band will always be the gold standard of metal. Everything is just Fucking perfection delivered on an amazing voice.
Victim of tempo changes! Masterpiece!
Anxiously awaiting for Rob to let loose on the vocals for Swaggys reaction lol
good ol JP. Kick in the pants jams. never fails. Many , many great songs.
Of course, you have to do the other classic from the same album: "Dreamer Deceiver/Deceiver." Starts slow, then builds and builds... Amazing!
You have a great "ear" for guitar notes. As a Rocker/Guitarist all my life, I was really moved watching you react to the guitar solos, you felt it, seen it, lived it, fell apart to it, etc....One of my favorite songs of all time. Keep up the great reactions. It's pure. It's real. It's what we all are...coming deep from the soul. - Cachai
Open minded people grow! White 80s rocker here. Still listen to Dre, Biggie, Tupac. It's good to enjoy whatever you like because you feel like it! Thumbs up!
Now you have to do Beyond the realms of death .. it’s a must !!
Yes, without question.... this is a must for him to react to! “Beyond The Realms
Of Death” is one of my favorite Priest songs ....I’d love to see him do Painkiller too.
PJ Cannaday .. yes Painkiller will blow his mind !
Judas Priest... anything live!! That's where these guys shine
This is so good one of there best . Bring back the 70s please .
YES my favorite Priest song. Amazing masterpiece.
I’ve been watching these reaction videos for a minute now and I’ve had a revelation. Their are certain people who just like edgy/ heavier music. Whether it’s rap/hip hop or rock/metal their are certain people who just gravitate to it. I feel when given the opportunity to listen a “metal head” will like certain rap/hip hop tracks and vice versa. There is just a hard nasty groove to both genres that speak to us. The two are not so different
The way you really feel the music hit you is so fun to watch. I love this song, but I love it even more after seeing your reaction. 😎👍
Don't sleep on Judas Priest, I was waiting on this one ✌❤💫
No one can scream like halford!!
1974! Metal gods.
Thank you, for the perfect choice of this masterpiece song from THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD FOR ALL TIMES ,JUDAS PRIEST!!! LEGENDARY MUSICIAN'S AND AMAZING THE BEST VOCALIST ROB HALFORD!!!THANK YOU!!!
Loved your reaction, I have seem them ten times live, this is my favorite song live. Halford is so amazing, no one compares to his vocal acrobats. Please try Sentinel live from Fuel for Life, 1986.
Nice man, 10X! When was first time? I waited 30 years to see them before they finally came to my city about 5 or so years ago. I made the mistake of taking my 19yo daughter with me because I didn't realize she couldn't handle drinking with the old man and we had to leave after 4 songs because she was hammered! LOL Oh well, I can say I saw them I guess. I like both Maiden and Priest a lot, but Priest was always my favorite. Their 70s stuff is fire and epic, then they became the Metal Gods! I totally get why they are huge for you, raw power metal, served up hard and heavy!
@@HendrixJHE My brother took me at 10 years old for the Screaming tour, Fuel for life, Ram it down , Painkiller 2 times, Angel- 2 times, I saw them 3 times last tour, first leg twice, and the last at the Soaring Eagle Casino. But kk needs to come back. I like other metal bands , but Priest are just do bad ass, so way ahead of their time. My friends were into Metallica Van Halen, etc, But Halford
@@HendrixJHE I would go watch him at 80 fi he can do it. He can do more now than most 30 year olds can do.
@@HendrixJHE You have to see Live Vengeance 82 The Sinner, Halford blows your mind! ruclips.net/video/SI1ZcIbhsmk/видео.html
@@paulm.5979 Those are only the surface of the ocean. Your friends gotta dive deep.
great song great reaction brother
Victim of Changes live at the Seminole Hard Rock Arena is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
One of my faves
Thanks for doing it justice
Legends 👍
You absolutely must listen to SAVATAGE / Hall of the Mountain King...Legends 👍👍
Love Jodus Prisst and you!, bro👍😃😃😃
AWESOME! Looking forward to this one.
👍Their best for sure...possibly the best
People should remember that Heavy Metal is based on the Blues. Thank you very much to my African American brothers.
Agreed!!!! All rock music is based on the blues. Blues and jazz are the only truly American musical art forms.
my 80 yr old mom judy ...just started a priest cover band ..."Judy Priest "
Dude, Rob Halford (Singer of Judas Priest) is a Classical Oprah singer before he was the front man for Judas Priest. That's why he hits those CrAzY notes and tones.
Beyond the realms of death is a must m8
Love your vids, bro. Very genuine and entertaining, and you have a great selection of tracks!
Great.Fu**ing.Band!
🤘🏻🤘🏻
Their Hell Bent For Leather album is a classic and a really good place to start with them even though you’ve already started. Any true PRIEST fan will tell you that. Been listening to them for decades and seen them live 18 times! Trust my pick of Riding On The Wind! Other of their classic
albums: British Steel, Point of Entry and Screaming For Vengeance which Riding On The Wind comes from.
Give Run of the Mill a listen, you won't regret it
React to Ram It Down - Judas Priest
2nd fav song from priest, beyond the realms of death is fav, one 1st ones i heard :)
I enjoyed watching your reaction! I saw JP in concert when I was in high school in the 70's and wouldn't trade those days for nothing!
I wish I could like this video more than once
Dissident Aggressor . Awsome dude
You find some music, that matches your vibration, or something.
Quantum physics, I don't know.
I remember feeling free of mind and body while listening to JP.
Thank you for keeping the music alive.
Live version is best - it's absolutely incredible
Thought I had subbed and hadn't just subbed this reminds me of growing up in the 70s and 80s thanks for the ride down memory lane peace from Alaska
I love your reaction!
Swaaaaggggyy!!!
I was dead when you tried to imitate that note.
loved the reaction tnx. this song is before it's time, groundbreaking...
Bro I loved your reaction! That was freaking cool brother! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
Swaggy!!!
Av it man
Swaaaaggggyyyyyy!!!
Please do Judas Priest - Heading Out To The Highway. Thank you.
One of their most underrated songs for sure.
I'm old school I actually have the album 🤘
Subbed....this shit will solve race relations... Rock and metal fires bonds of steel..
Do same song again,LIVE from Simenola Hard Rock Arena ..there you have amazing..
With all requests....you'll do good to find the STUDIO version of the song (unless the live version is specifically requested) as this will be the definitive version.....and the version that everyone (requesting) has heard first. Prime example - Van Halen "Eruption".......you have to hear the album version as a 1st listen. Even better is to listen to it on vinyl.....with 2 big (high quality) home stereo speakers pointing at you.......and turn it up!! But nobody has done this for the "Eruption" track......and they're missing out big time. I first heard it in 1981....and exactly as I described it here......and it (no joke) forever changed my life!
waggy.you definitely need to watch and listen to the victim of changes youtube video of judas priest doing this song live in dortmund germany in 1983.it will change your life.the best video of this song ever produced.ever.trust me.
Legendary
Check out, The Ripper from the same album 😊👍👌👍😊💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
Judas pree- ast lmfaoo I never heard anyone pronounce it like that
Green Manalishi ! ( with the three pronged crown)
I’ll say it again! PRIEST: Riding On The Wind! Do the live in concert version! BANGER? It’s the definition of a BANGER! Peace, Phil
phil Stone live at Dortmund !!!
Yeeeeeesss!!! 🤘😝🤘 13:00 😁🤣😂🤣
Lol...you should put that "scowl" on a t-shirt.
you just listened to the Metal God, Rob Halford! Dreamer Deceiver next
The Painkiller
Heck yeah. Rob's vocals in this are amazing. One of my favorites. Thanks. Enjoy. Check out Steeler.
Do Judas Priest - Stained Class
My man I highly recommend doing the live version from Unleashed in the East!
82 , seen them on that tour. Really good.
@@bmiamiwai 82 was the Screaming for Vengeance tour, Unleashed was in 1978, i was also there in 82
the green manalishi off of that album is a beast!!!!!!!!!!
I think this was recorded in 1976? So recording techniques, equipment, BUDGETS, and time were huge factors on everything. Plus these dudes are using old Marshall amps and gear. Oh yeah - the singer was a classically trained opera singer!
Judas Priest - The Sentinel (Live) 1984
Badass song and great review!! But how the hell did you yawn listening to this?! 😂
Glenn Tipton channeling some Hendrix there man!
400th like.
NOW, do the live version from the US Festival!
Yo you think that's a good scream check out Queensrych take hold of the flame live in Tokyo 1984 Geoff Tate will definitely blow your mind
When queensrych makes another dozen hit albums, then you can compare tate to halford.
you have to listen to the live version. Far superior.
REQ: LOVE BITES, THE RIPPER both by Judas Priest
KK said he emulated Jimi Hendrix early on.
Hi Man , thax for Very funny reactions for metal ! You need listen Freewheel burning , JUDAS PRIEST song ! Version live ! You deserve Man !
Yuss!!! Judas priest are awesome! Please react to manowar - return of the warlord. Xx
the live version is way better
giggles...Dude? You've stopped das song 3 times in das first 2 minutes only to tell us things
we've known for 40+ years. We heard these tunes when they first Rocked das Waves,...have
their 33s,...und grew up attending their concerts. Your evaluations are irrelevant. Just kick
back, enjoy das tunes, und we will enjoy watching your "Physical" reactions...Just Sayin'. :-)
Good reaction though. :-)
Have a fun day. Auf Wiedersehen aus Wiesbaden
I had to unlike...only so the video would be at *SIX SIX SIX* likes.
When I first started watching tonight it was at 667 likes...counting my own previous like. Hence my unlike.
Turn down your intro music, feckaroo. I like to listen to maybe a hundred reactions a night, but a lot of you guys have an intro that's ten times louder than the actual video. My neighbours don't appreciate, dude...
