This is in fact the last Wii U game ever. Morbius was so cool that they gave the Wii U a last chance. If only Morbius was launched during the Wii U era, the Wii U would’ve now sold over 1 morbillion consoles!!

Never understood the hate for the Wii U. Many well known games had their debut on it, and was generally just a fun time all around
@@Jetterz1999 I don't think malicious feeling were something many people harboured towards the Wii U, more so confusion as to what it was.
The problem many had with the Wii U was two fold; Firstly, the marketing and naming of the system was terrible, sounding more like an add on for the existing Wii rather than the full on next gen successor it was. Ads also were confusing (at least for the general audience) and didn't clarify it was a standalone new console, as opposed to seeming like just another accessory for the Wii like the Mario Kart steering wheel.
Secondly, third party support was abysmal, due to games having to be made with the tablet in mind, meaning more programming work for ports on an underpowered system compared to the PS4 and XBone systems that were soon to come out, and a strange proprietary dvd system that meant it didn't have the storage capabilities of blu ray. The second points are problems the Xbox 360 shared, but due the Xbox 360 already having a very large install base gained over 7 years, developers were much more comfortable making a 4 disc game like Wolfenstein the New Order for the 360, while the Wii U had no such luck.
Hopefully I didn't sound too negative in this comment, I agree the Wii U was a great system, it just sucks Nintendo shot itself in the foot with the system, much like Sony would go on to do with the PS Vita.

My dad and I used to play the She Hulk and The Marvels DLC for Morbius Wii U all the time. He's gone now but I'll always remember those fun times of us playing Morbius together on the Wii U. RIP dad

If you beat it on Ultra-Morb difficulty and get M-Rank and collect the 5 hidden Morbs in each level AND level your Morbius to level Morbillion you can unlock Tuxedo Morbius.

I just finished replaying this game for the seventeenth time this week, and let me just say it holds up so well! The decision to add a dedicated Morb button was a stroke of genius, and I can't begin to imagine the technical limitations the developers had to overcome to render one morbillion graphics at once. Of all the Morb-type games out there, this truly is one of them.
I saw the logos in the intro and immediately recognized “oh that’s from the Cars video game” then was instantly ashamed of myself for being able to identify the Cars video game intro at a first glance

I think the gameplay is amazing and the mechanics revolutionary, especially on a console like the wii U, the morb meter adds so much value to the gaming experience it will be hard for me to enjoy another game after today
It’s so incredible, so much effort was put into this game, it came out years ago and these graphics are still divine and pristine, you can easily tell that the developers had fun creating this game, they put so much heart and emotion into the mainline story, the side mission were by far my favorite part of the game though, especially that one about the talking trash can and his love, the talking door handle, it sucks that they couldn’t get together in the end because of the door handles arranged marriage to the door step.
I've been playing on Playstation for over 5 years now, and hearing the Wii U game boot up hit me like a stone cold morb.

Morbius
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Morbius. The conflict and charcacter development is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of classic English dramatic literature, most of the weight of the scenario will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Michael’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these scenes, to realise that they're not only humorous- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence, people who dislike Morbius truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the depth in Morbius’ quote: “I am Venom. Just kidding, I’m Dr. Michael Morbius at your service.” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Jared Leto's genius wit unfolds itself exclusively on the cinematic screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Morbius tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then, they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin’ personnel kiddoes 😎
It’s always the Batman fans that know nothing about morbius! They’re just jealous because Morbius sold 12 morbillion tickets. Morbius is also the first superhero ever created, dating back to 3 morbillion BC. Which is why Batman is a copycat character whereas Morbius is the original bat character and can defeat the entire marvel and DC universe himself.

I don't know if you're trolling at this point. But the movie Morbius was directed and produced very poorly. Many important scenes happened too fast and the meaningless ones happened too slow. They never explained Morbius abilities or even the logic behind his transformation other than "bat blood mixed with something else". Heck, the movie never even mentions about their regenerative abilities or how invulnerable they are and Michael was already like "nothing can kill me!" and you're left wondering why. You had to guess about their abilities by comparing them to a typical vampire because the movie wouldn't really tell you what they were.
And Michael wasn't nihilistic, he was far from it. The only reason he became a bad guy was because of his obsession of being superior and rise above others. He very much appreciated life (his own) more than any other character in the movie.
Btw, you don't need to read books to understand such a basic movie, let alone a high IQ. If you were really smart as you claim to be, you'd understand that and stop trying to sound like a smartass, no offense.

Hard to believe the same companies who were involved with the Cars video game, Mater-National Championship and Race-O-Rama were also involved with the Morbius video game. They managed to pull it off impressively, I must say.

Fun fact: Even though Morbius Wii U Edition ripped sfx from Hyrule Warriors, Nintendo never actually sued Sony for it. Instead Doug Bowser personally sent a letter to Sony thanking them for putting their sound effects in the Wii U’s game of all time.
