      She doesn't have to run the 400 for that. The goal is still there. She has 4x100, 4x400, Mixed 4x400, and 200 meters. No flat 400 required, (she wasn't going to win a flat 400 anyway). She just needs to make the relay pool and she is good.

    Why are people getting excited about these performances, the Olympics is still a month away and on the day there’s no guarantee any athlete will repeat or better their current performances! Just take the results and go! In fact some of us might not even be around for the Olympics, perhaps even some of the athletes! Remember the distance runner who died in the car crash who was projected to break the world record etc etc! The importance of these events are insignificant in/to the grand scheme of things!
    Prioritize wisely!

    Coleman ran 98% to the line and doesn’t look that great to me. You could also tell he wasn’t happy by the post race interview. He is not a dead certain to me. Has work to do.

      The last part is the weakest part of coleman's race. If coleman wins it will be because he got a huge lead at the start which would most likely mean noah had a bad start.
