    I hate how track and field athletes don't make as much as football athletes or basketball players. Track and Field needs to be recognized more because the work ethic of these guys is crazy.

      Ratus train two times a week like:
      Training 1: some shorter sprints like 30 meters to 100 meters in order to increase your acceleration phase
      Training 2: some sprints more longer like 80 meters to 150 meters for to develop your speed endurance . (this types of trainings are for the hundred meters sprinters)

    I run 11.34 off minimal training and 22.9 200m on some decent training. I read and saw some stat sheets that showed Asafa Powell went from low 11 to 10.5 in one year apparently off uphill sprints, any of your smarty pants trackletes out there think I can reach 10.8 in a year off this info?

    • @1elijawon1
      @1elijawon1 7 лет назад

      Usain Phelps - Yeah You Can.. But It's More Than Just The Training.. Dieting Counts Too. My 8th Grade Year I Ran An 11.19 By The Middle Of My Freshman Year Track Season I Ran 10.57.. It's Very Much Do Able. Just Stick With It && Diet Correctly

    • @yadoo8164
      @yadoo8164 6 лет назад

      Usain Phelps One thing you truly need other than dieting is a perfect workout plan. You want to build up your shoulders and chest and have a very strong core it all will benefit in keeping your top end speed throughout the race. But also uphill sprints do work.

    I ran 11.61 in the 100 and I’m 15.. but I have a hamstring strain and I just want to run again. Can anybody give me any tips or hope? ANYTHING?

      Gospel_and_Buckets hey I know I’m late but I’ve had my fair share of hamstring injuries. All I can tell you to do is rest and let the hamstring heal properly. While you are resting try to pinpoint a potential cause of the strain such as not enough sleep, poor dieting, poor form, etc. Once your hammie heals properly you should contact your athletic trainer so you can receive the proper exercises to strengthen it. Also seeing a doctor and going to physical therapy wouldn’t hurt. Hopefully this helps a little.

      Gospel_and_Buckets one more thing your mindset can either speed up or slow down the healing process. Always think positive in regards to a injury. Trust me it’ll help you through the process
