He was scheduled to fly to me in NYC 2 days ago, but AGAIN (4th cancelled flight) a travel ban prevented it. We can't give this up no matter how heart wrenching it is. We were FB friends, but found each other so interesting it evolved. I wasn't 'looking" for anyone. We met in person in 2019 after 2 years chatting. Then Covid hit and shit happened. We're both "nut jobs" so it works! ♥️

About a year out (with no visitation in between), I stayed with him for a month. 4 months later he returned to US, but moved to MI 4 months later, and for SIX years we lived 2700 miles apart because of work, with visitation and extended trips cross country or overseas for work maybe every six months. TBH, it was in some ways easier to see someone that far away, then dating someone on the westside in LA. We would have gone on indefinitely long distance if his work hadn't brought him back to LA. It wasn't solely because of chemistry. It was that I know I was problematic, and the small amount of direct time was more in synch than with anyone present in LA.
